yeah i read all that cheers, signed up to the ford forums now so having a read thro it all.

whats the diff between the BA-BF deka's and the FG deka's? and which one do i need for the neo.

cheers

i have no idea about FG falcons................ seimens injectors are used as an upgrede not stock. ie Siemens have branded this injector DEKA. if you find any thing has changed let me know.

Well, thanks to urtwhistle for his hospitality yesterday, it seems all I have to do to fit my RB20 injectors (same would go for GTR injectors I guess), is machine the bosses down a bit on the manifold where the fuel rail bolts and change the manifold side o-rings on the injectors.

Actually.. just had a thought.. Chris, what length are those spacers you are using? I only checked against your seimens injectors and forgot you were spacing the rail.. if that's the case then I'll probably just need a smaller spacer (couple of washers) instead of machining the bosses on the manifold down..

yeah i got that much cheers. So you ran the BA-BF replacement deka's then im guessing? as theres two diff part numbers (and prices) for the BA-BF and FG series.

Sorry mate if i came across a little abrupt, i was just feeling a little frustrated at the time. (was agro cos i lost a 10mm socket for a few hours)

oh i see i never realised there could have been a difference. Yes i went BA turbo injectors. siemens/VDO p/n FI114961

No problems, your welcome to drop past any time. its good being able to put a face to the name. I'm currently using a 12mm spacer.

you may be able to use some gr10.9 washers as they tend to be a fair bit thicker then engineering washers. give me a yell if you run into any trouble. i may have some in the bolt rack at work.

if anybody wants a cheap set of the 80Lb (875cc) Dekas, ive got some for sale here (new).

Ok i'm interested in these injecters.

I have read the whole thread but most of it relates to the rb25 fuel rail.

Now what do I have to do to make these fit? 23MM spacer with a longer bolt and longer fuel hose? Just so the fuel rail sits abit higher up?

hey fella, i have no idea about RB26's but yes i stated 13MM I ended up grinding them back to about 11MM as there was a bit of extra play there that i didnt like.

and being a GTR you probly dont need to worry about the fuel hose. But thats somehting you might need to look into.

So the fuel rail just has to sit higher? Thats it? The injecters that I looked at are top feed as well.

exactly and change the injector plugs to suit. but due to it sitting higher you either have to mod the rail so you can actually get the rail on the injectors.

or take the top half of the plenum off install the injectors and rail un modified. as the rail only clashs when your posittioning the rail over the injectors.

What cc are stock Z33 injectors? Are they a great bolt on upgrade for the ER34?

To my knowledge there the same style but unsure of the stock CC. i highly doubt that they would put bigger injectors in a NA car though.

Hey guys,

Was just searching on this for a friedn and realised that I know a guy who was getting the injectors at a great price. The LS1 and XR6T use the same style injectors, so the LS1 style bolt in replacement Motron 60Lb injectors would also work right?

If so, these guys do eight (yes 8) Motron 60Lb injectors for US$379 so surely US$48 per injector + freight and then buying injector clips etc would make them affordable compared to the Siemens Deka ones?

Anyway, the link is HERE

siemens ones. not a whole heap of work really, needed to wire in new plugs and machine up some 12mm spacers to space the rail up. other then that its a bolt in swap.

oh and check out the tutorial section... i made a guide for it also.

so for e85 it currently boils down to);

nismo 740cc, can't find any.

deatschwerks $640 pp which is plug and play.

80LB SIEMENS DEKA INJECTORS for around $365 pp plus wiring harness and machining a 13mm spacer.

or ID1000's for $700 but some (lots?) mucking around to install

I had actually toyed with the idea of putting the R33 inlet runners on the Neo head and just using R33 side feeds on the stock rail....but I never got around to confirming the stud patterns matched up, anyone care to check it out?

I know this is an old post but I can confirm this works. I have an R34 neo motor with R33 intake, rail etc on it. You have to pull a stud out of each end of the head and replace it with the standard R33 bolt but it isn't exactly hard to do.

I did it as it meant doing the neo swap was completely painless, running all R32 gear (in an R32) sensors, ecu etc. Just chopped the ignitor off and wired the ecu direct to the R34 coils.

Easy as piss.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
