was 11yo and we were playing around in class... to "cut" a long story short my mate went thru a door window feet first and had a pane of glass about 2 feet long and 1 foot wide in between his calf muscle and his femur... the only thing holding his calf muscle to his leg was a strand of skin about half a centimeter wide at the top under the back of the knee.

my worst was being shot in the leg with a 22 nearly point blank... falling thru a roof at camp and cutting my chest and hand open (Year11 and after that our school has never had a VCE camp since) and cutting my back open puting down a garage door :D

Mine occurred when I was 13 on an end of year school trip to the movies. We went to Maccas in the city for lunch and while sitting on the old fibreglass bench seats they had I tucked my legs underneath a bit. I was wearing shorts and didn’t realise the seat had a small sharp spike sticking out just near the top of my calf. When I stood up in a hurry the spike not only punctured my calf but ripped a 14 centimetre long laceration down toward my ankle. I reckon it was at least 1 cm deep at the top and in no time my shoe filled up with blood which overflowed every time I took a step leaving bloody footprints all the way to the bathroom.

I managed to stop the bleeding with dunny paper and washed out my shoe.

After a painful tram ride back along St Kilda road to school, the nurse patched me up and sent me home. When mum saw it she raced me to the docs for stiches.

The next day she rang the school furious that the teacher hadn’t taken me to hospital.

In hindsight it was a pretty damn huge gash and I’ve still got a nice scar.

A 14 centimetre long rip in 13 yr olds leg is quite impressive.

Needless to say school trips to the movies and maccas were cancelled after that.

you should be a millionaire form sueing macdonalds for negligence!!!

oh yeah there was also the girl at my intermediate (same place as the calf thing) that fell thru the front window of the office and cut her head off.

did you get to keep the head? like a trophy and put coins it it for your savings.

I was riding my dirt bike in the sticks when some little prick came flying around a blind corner....I tried to get out of the way, fell off and he ran over me.

He tried to help me up...I said I can't breath....he said you're probably winded....I said I'm not f*&$%n winded get help.

It ended up I had six broken ribs...one or more of the ribs punctured my lung which is why I couldn't breath. When he ran over me, something on his bike ripped open my arm, grabbed my watch, ripped that off and smashed my wrist and then grabbed my wedding ring and ripped open and broke my finger....my hand was at a horrible angle off to the left.

I was bleeding internally with almost all of the organs in my abdomen had some injury. They had to cut me open and fix everything up, and I ended up with 45 staples in my guts. Left a nice scar.

I almost died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital and I was in ICU for fives day with a machine keeping me alive.

The little prick skipped town and hasn't been seen since. Didn't even check to see how I was???

A couple of lessons I learnt.....

1. In a situation like this morphine is great!, cos phaaaark it hurt!!

2. motorbikes are pharkin dangerous

3. stick to cars

4. sniffy...you're funny

Finally, if any of you ride, take care...u aint got much protection.

cheers Ozzy

never broken anything in MY body...

fell of bike once, slid down a road of my stomach for about 10 metres.

got my finger stuck in a conveyorbelt at safeway

Put a digging pick into my own toe...

I didn't really have an interesting childhood, injury wise anyway.

Oh, and i rode my bike into a parked car.... nothing major. but i sense i'm still going to cop shi*

was chasing my cuz when i was 15 with new shiny chief knifes.. was doing that asian action movie thing (like swierling two knifes around each other) until i decided to stop there was a kind of jolt in my "blade spining attack" and i had a quik look at wat i did. The nice knifey was stuck in my arm just below my elbo... was about 2-3 cms deap. (the place on ur arm were junkies inject) my cuz looked at me and i pulled it out, blood squited out, he fainted.

Umm at once while working wit my dad i had the hammer and hit a nail for the last time, ( you know when u hit it for the final time, you hit it hard so it goes in nice!) well as i hit it, hit my nail.... the pain was like DEATH..... worst feeling ever,

wen i was like 7 was at a community picnic, was walking wit sandels and some one called my name, i turned to look, tripped face first hit my face on a step... connected wit my nose,. friends went and called my mum, mum ran and grabbed me, saw my nose was bleeding so heavy.. washed my face at the tap but bleeding wouldnt stop, then she decided to hold my nose closed. until blood started pooring out of my mouth.

fell out of a flat window 1st floor but i cant remember it, this was like 5ish

swallowed a ring and got stuck in my throat again wen i was 5. doctors couldnt get it out so my mum STUCK her fingers in... lol, i think i was a really bad kid

haha only just found this thread, nice one Wardest.

You truly are demented..... just the way I like it! :)

I can contribute, but my stories aren't as good as most. :(

When I was 3, my brother put me on a billy cart and pushed me down the driveway... i slammed into the garage door, and my head flew forwards and hit the bolt in the centre of the steering wheel.

I have a nice scar in the centre of my forehead still.

When I was about 8, I got attacked by a Great Dane, (I was only tiny, so the bite covered a large area on my left side), we were in South Gippsland at the time, and had to drive an hour and a half to get to the hospital.

This story continues.

The owner of the dog got in trouble for not keeping the dog under control, so a few months later, while i was riding my bike up and down the road, he shot me in the right knee. :D

(It was only an air rifle, but the damage was quite nasty, and now i have arthritis in that knee)

I broke my wrist when I was rollerskating in an old unused servo, and my wheel got stuck in one of the holes where a bowser was removed....

Nobody believed how much pain i was in, and when i eventually got taken to hospital, i was told it was just a sprain, got bandaged up and sent home.

The next day while I was at school, i got a phone call to say that the person who checked my x-ray had failed to see the break, and i had to go in and get plaster.:D

My other half (GTR R31) had a decent injury, he was making some custom parts for the car, and the saw grabbed the bit of metal he was holding, and swung it around and chopped the fingerprint part of his finger off.

I had to drive his car from Mordialloc to Frankston hospital while he sat there bleeding everywhere and got whiter and whiter... he was so worried that he was going to get blood on his precious car.

They did x-rays, stitched it back on, but when we went for the follow up appointment, they found that the end of the finger had been left too long before they re-attached it.

It was all black and dead and gross....

Luckily, where it was, the tissue was eventually able to grow back, but even to this day, he still can't play guitar properly. :(

The end.

isnt gory but funny... i was extremely pissed at crown casino when i was like 16... i was leaning against one of the walls just outside the sports bar where we had been drinking.... my mate decides to jump on my back and pull me down... unfortunately because of the wall my foot couldnt turn and fall in the same direction and instead stayed in the same direction while i made a 180 degree turn :D puffed up like a (no exageration) football... we had to cut my sock off and take out all the laces to get my foot out haha

2 bottles of Jim Beam and i could still feel the pain til i passed out... woke up with a hang over... forgot what happend and went to get off the bed... fell on my face cause my ankle collapsed... thought it was a good idea to go to the doctor at that point :D

got an ear infection that turned very neasty.

they removed my ear and cleaned out all the sh1t from it and sewed it back on. only have 10% hearing in that ear.

operation took 5 hours I looked like the elephant man :D

its great when you wife rambles on in bed you just.

put the good ear face down :D

    • sold listed as a Tomei LSD 1.5 Way For 1998+ Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT RB25DE w/Open R200 https://www.ebay.com/itm/174006114594?campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms=&campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=71883f2ccc571356e0a757bc7adfdde2&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms= it went in like butter all gears, alignment, back lash etc, rotation and clearances correct, and if rolling all rotates smooth and free when coasting down road , clutch in or out over 10 mph smooth... its the binding, clunking and jerking from a stop that is most concerning, also seems like its going to tear the tires off in 10 miles of normal road driving.
    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
