rob77, sorry but why are you such an asshole to eriktufa? his just trying to fix a squeky boot god dammit!

erik, try checking all the spare tyre etc in the boot, if its not tight it can move around and its bloody annoying. Else it may be something more serious, take it back to the guy who fixed the boot in the first place and get him to have a look at it. honestly it could almost be anything.

rob77, if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all.

U want rattles and squeeks? get some poly engine mounts. I gave up count a long time ago. I even have different rattles for different speeds and/or revs ranges.

Best thing to do is get some contact glue and/or some spacefiller and go to town on the thing with some bits of carpet.

hehe "squicking" sound .... sounds like something that comes from a mouse ..... sure you havent got a mouse in ya car Erik? :)

As Paul said we all have rattles ..... well i never used to but lately theres about 5 different rattles coming from my car ..... the closest thing i have to a "squicking" sound tho is coming from inside the door near the power windows instrument cluster and it only occurs when i go over bumps ...... all i did was give it a good whack with a closed fist ...... bingo!! squicking sound gone :)

I'm sorry too Memphis as I'm with Dan and Rob on this one.

We are here to help if we can but are getting tired of trivial requests generated in the wee hours of the morning.

Erik

You're obviously not dumb so have a go at these minor niggles yourself. That way when you've built up your own knowledge base you can help someone else in the future.

Either that or buy a Volvo

Cheers

:), Ok guys remind me I won't put another thread about this stuff.

Niz, I hit it but It came back on my driver door :D So it's pointless for my car.

R34, Dan, Rob -> leave me alone :P You always pick on me not HELPING.

Strich9ine-> It;s not useless, it's useful but it's over , exhaust sound is f**king loud, I couldn't hear the squicking sound anymore. :D

Niz -> I got a cat in my car so there won't be any mouse inside it :)

Memphis -> that's for the help dude, I'll meet you today if you come to drag :)

Why people always pick on noob? -> me :)

Don't take it personally mate.

We'd pick on anyone who after 6 months on the forum still asks dumb ass questions rather than get off his arse and have a go himself.

Cheers

Erik, Questions are cool thats what we are here for :) but the smaller trivial stuff you might just want to post in Whoretown thread ..... usually theres someone in there that can give ya couple of solutions :) and that way people arent getting fustrated at you too.

Ok so the general consensus is that this is a pointless thread. Which is fair enough.

We cant be having threads about "cant get my seat position right- need help"

Ure welcome to ask questions Erik, dont get me wrong. However threads like these are pretty much specific to ure car and u need to have a go at sorting these problems ureself. Unless of course u were expecting someone to say "there is a button under the dash u push to stop the squicking sounds" :)

On a side note: Saw ure car out front on sunday, looking good.

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
