you will cream your jeans for sure when you see one in person, they are seriously beautiful...

its similar to the old R33 4 door "deep blue" colour...

Color suits the car well, that's for sure! Will yours have color matched bumpers though? Or that 90's spec grey? ...are those a pillars black? And... are they led running lights?

attention scott and colin, i won't be able to make it tomorrow night, i actually have an important meeting that i need to attend. I will organise pick up and payments later.

Scott if your in the valley tomorrow give me a bell, i pm'd you my number in faceparty

So... what's the weirdest thing people have found in a car they're doing a service on?

Today I found a dinner plate in a Barina. Just one plate. In the passenger footwell...

I've been having the worst farkin week. I read this and I lol'd like never before.

SAU can cheer a negro up.

But OT, when I was looking at XR6T's, I looked at one at a Fraud dealership, opened the bonnet and had a bit of a look around for leaks etc, when I saw my reflection down the side of the manifold with "Objects in mirror may be closer than they appear" some muppet had left a mirror in the engine bay when they were getting the engine no. Needless to say I didn't buy that car.

Sarp Mangs. Shit day is shit.

Apparently Godzilla and Heat Treatments are running at the test n tune at Willowbank on Friday night. Anyone keen to go see some 7 sec passes?

If it's a test and tune night it's free for spectators. You'll see cars running anywhere from 8 second passes to 18 second passes. All kinds of shit will be there running all kinds of times.

John, what was that tyre from? Has to be a truck of some kind... clearly?

My skyline passed it's road worthy inspection... have 2 people interested to come look over the weekend. I'm sad/happy. pinch.gif

I meant what time does it start and what time does it finish. But 8 second passes would be nice to see.

Some quick digging says that there's a top fuel drags on on friday, not a test and tune. And also that its 20 bucks for spectators at test and tunes aswell.

It wasn't on anything, just sitting there. The 155/55/R13s next to it looked like doughnuts!!

Last time I went to a test and tune it was free for me to be a spectator. Maybe they are charging because the top fuel is on later?

8 second passes are fun to watch, I was more impressed by some of the real POS looking cars running 10-11 however. Also, the old Corolla with a 20C rotor in it made me happy in my pants ;)

I was gonna say... test and tunes have never been free to watch...

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
