hi guys i know im probably being a pain but just wondering if these offsets would fit a 32 GTR?

18 x 7.5 +42 and 18 x 8.5 +37

maybe some one could give me an idea of what offsets i should be looking for to help.

cheers.

Those will look terrible mate. Also GTR's should always have same rim and tyre width front and rear because of 4WD.

R32 GTR offsets should be between +20 and +30 and go for some thing about 8-10inchs wide.

Read this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wh...0&start=480

as per (most) of the advice above those wheels are not 32 GTR suitable. with such a high offset there is a chance they will contact upper control arm or have brake clearance problems. plus they are narrower than the standard wheels so they will look worse than standard and be worse than standard performance wise too.

I would not put them on a GTR even if they were free....

firstly, you want equal sized wheels all round. and you don't want to go narrower than stock. that is just silly. something like a 17X9 or 18X9 or 9.5 would be fine. offset between +15 and +25 tops.

ok awsome thanks guys. im just looking for wheels for the car to run around on. its got wheels for the track, so just chasing something to weekend drive and stuff on

cheers again

My R34 GT-R wheels will be up for grabs soon ie 18X9

...but as Richard ^^^ said, +15 to +25 would be ideal

standard R34 GTR wheels are a great choice for a 32 GTR. they can be had for a very reasonable price, are 18X9 +30, are forged (made by BBS in japan for nissan) and they look very good. they should be at the top of the list for most R32s.

edit: I had them on my old R32 GTR. I liked 'em.

I'm not 100 % if GTS-4 and GT-R are the same (my coilovers say BNR32 on them, and of course not having pumped guards, so I go off this), I've got 17 x 8.5 on the front and 17 x 9.5 on the rear in a +22 offset, the fronts sit in the guard about 5 mil at a guess? and the rears are right on the edge.

Would I be correct to assume that higher offset = cheaper wheels as well?

from new? no. 2nd hand it comes down to a matter of supply and demand, each wheel has a different market after different offsets.

Q. how would 18x9.5 +13 sit on 32R, ideally wud like something that pretty flush with the guards

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
