alrighty then..................

if ure coming up to gossie i suggest terrigal they have food places open reasonably l8 plus a 24hr bakery.......... oh and there is a decent amount of carpark

plus if its a fri nite the cops wont be out as much cause the big nite up here is thursday

the pizza thing is easy cos as soon as i get tired i can piss off home. but this will be a better drive, i'll just cruise until i feel a need to make tracks. no excuses, I'm there

History has shown that Friday night & Pizza at the beach on Terrigal has ended with cops :(

Depending on the number of people is Pizza at Gossie Station do-able ? Seems to attract much less cop attention than the carpark at Terrigal ...

I might have to be in for this, I have never come out on a skyline cruise before and would love to get some piccies. I will head hom from work then back to thornleigh(I work just off pennant hills road. City view Rd)

catch you guys then

I've been on the last 2 Terrigal runs and never even seen a cop let had trouble from cops (and we were parked 100m from a cop shop).

Come on tosh!  do your thing! :) start a 'who is coming' list :(

and how long do you guys reckon the whole cruise will be?!

it's your cruise Mona.... I'm sure you can manage to do it

okies...please check the first post as i've updated it with a list of whose coming and the maybes....

Let me know if i need to make changes....or if you're intested in coming along...

We will be leaving Thornleigh Maccacs at 8:30 (i promise i won't be late!!) so try not to be late...i don't have alot of your numbers so not sure how it'll work if you are running late and still want to come along....

I will definatly be there. I haven't been out with you guys so can't miss this one.

I don't drive out of work during the day often. walk to the nearest shops and stuff. our carpark is F#$ed, takes 10 mins to get out of it cause you get parked in all the time.

Well i haven't been on one of your cruises before, blitz keeps telling me that i should come along, but i will need to call blitz to see where you are at around midnight, but will love to join the next cruise for sure.

CB radio to tell everyone how far behind i am during the cruise (wont be in use for long as its only got a 3km range)

Don't laugh that happened to me last time. Whats even funnier is within 3km of leaving Thornleigh I was already out of range going thru Galston :D

Taking a wrong turn and not having good brakes doesn't help haha :) I didn't catchup until about 20mins later.

/me removes his speed limiter :bahaha:

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
