so ive purchased my self a new custom made clutch with a r33 gtr pull type pressure plate with 4200lbs pressure and a 6 puck carbotics clutch plate with standard flywheel.

now before i had standard clutch with no noises etc, although now with the new clutch install it seems to be making a rattling noise which intensifies and minimises at its own will (noise is only during idle with clutch either in or out)

its a rattling noise and i have been told by the (company) who built the clutch that its due to my r34gtt having a getrag gearbox and also due to the 6 puck clutch plate or something...

now ill be honest as much as i want it to handle the power and control thereof i also dont want to lose the prestige luxury of a quite sports car on idle.

now has anybody had the same issues and is this getrag thing right??

ive head r34 gtr gearbox's has the same issues with aftermarket clutch's

has anybody overcome it? if so how..

btw the company who has made the clutch is going to try and find a way to get rid of the noise but may come at a comprimise of losing the 6 puck clutch and going to standard carbon with heavier pressure plate.

i as told differently by jim berry.from race clutch queensland.

r34 GTR is the only box that gets noisey. The R34 GTT bos is the same as R33, we use the R34 GTT boxes in the drift car as they are always lower KMS..
