lol just got home. sorry jezza, it looks like i may be 15 min late :):D

Just got home. Seeing as I live near St Kilda I thought I might just wander off home towards the end of the cruise :action-smiley-069:

Was great to see so many people there. There was alot of people coming and going, but throughout the night I think it'd be fair to say we saw about 30+ different cars.

For those that enjoyed that, look forward to bigger and better cruises and events in the near future  That was a mere 'kebab run' thrown together at the last minute lol

To stay updated, make sure you check out www.SouthEastImports.net

I think most of you got handed out a little flyer by Chad anyways.

Thanks everyone for coming :( Hope to see you all next time.

was nice meeting some new faces :(

lol the flyer that was given out contains a URL that doesn't work  .

That's weird. When I went to log on it came up with an error. I hit refresh and now it's fine :action-smiley-069:

Try again :) I'm sure it will work. I payed good money for that URL so it better not screw up on me!

Maybe try all lowercase letters. And remember, the "I" is an I, not an "l" ;)

We've been using that URL for months now and no one has ever had issues, so might've just been a momentary bug in the server.

If all else fails, www.southeastimports.tk is also registered + www.southeastimports.proboards.com

good to see another stagea rocked up, from the westside i belive, shame on your south east stagea owners. shame shame shame!

Yeah, that's a good point. It was a very good meet in terms of behavior. Absolutely no hooning and no trouble from police :action-smiley-069: That's what I like to see from SEI members and I'm sure the SAU admins will be pleased to hear that too.

unlucky i got to the kebab place to late, was running very late and didnt get there till after 10!

was looking forward to introducing myself and my 32 gtr......ohh well.....next time :action-smiley-069:

missed this one!! damn...any pics guys??

Nuh. Basti didn't bring his camera. One of the ZX guys was taking photos, but that was only of their cars :)

There should be a few mobile phone photos floating round or something. They just didn't turn out the best due to lack of lighting.

We'll do a properly planned photoshoot next time.

man, sorry guys - i had my dates all mixed up. Thought my work drinks was tonight (saturday) and not friday - but had already told them id come ages ago. By the time i left it was like just after 9, and I was stuck in traffic in the city and stuff - so yeah couldnt make it in time. Next time for sure though :)

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
