There are too many variations with ECU’s Teren.

I will require a VIN number (original Japanese) to be able to trace the correct part. A part number off the ECU itself will be sufficient.

Many Thanks,

Andrew

....vin or part number please guys....

....vin or part number please guys....

Just incase there are any problems with the vin # the markings on the ECU (courtesty of Iain) are:

Nissan JA

A56-R12 L18 1Y03

UNISIA JECS CORPORATION

JAPAN

It's also a negative from NissWreck, they are unable to assist.

I was trying to get them to import a wrecked M35 in there next container, but alas they can't help :)

I asked if they could just bring the ECU in but same result!

ok so i will cal my brother and get him to track down whoever bought that black wreck off pickles the other week who tried to sell on ebay..

I was wondering where that cowboy got to, the only real option he has with the car is to sell it whole to a wreckers or to part it up himself. It can't be re-registered so he is really up the creek.

Let us know how you get along, would be interesting to find out what become of the car once it was taken off ebay.

A few people said they had emailed him but I've not seen any feedback to say that they had got a reply.

Called him today, hes found a few front cuts in Brisbane, but they wont separate the ecu from the fronts.

they said they will try grab just an ecu for their next container.

So i asked him to see if he can track down the black one for me as that seems like the easiest option.

F*CK, you'd think if they were front cuts they wouldn't mind seperating the ECU, I gather they want someone to buy the whole lot just for one part? f*ckity f*ck

Yeah, I'm still interested to find out what become of the black one that was removed from ebay.

says m35 2250 rs v but numbers are no where the same as Ians....

I don't think that is the right one. Needs to be a 250T RS

Any is correct, that isn't the ECU we are after :)

I'm starting to think this is going to be a long and difficult process lol

Can anyone let me know which wreckers have the front cut (or whole M35) as I need a small plastic scoop vent sort of bit. Thanks

If you mean the cold air intake scoop that sits above the radiator and directs cold air into the airbox, any V35 item will fit (same part).

nope it's asmaller one. Sits down below the grill on the left and is about 20 cm's long and scoops air into the intercooler.

Aahhh yes.

Mine had a 40mm split from the left corner towards the intercooler.

One minute and some "Tarzan Grip" later, it is a good as new... can't even see the split

I'm going to Brisbane in a couple of weeks.

Could you please find out which wreckers have the front cuts and get their names and possibly addresses?

I would like to see what other parts they might have - boost guage, wood trim, driving lights etc

i bought some glue today and went to attach it and found out that some of it must have falen off on the road where the "ahem" incident happened . So there wasnt enough left to attach it.

    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
