controller is too easy...I hooked up my wheel and hyperdrive, set it all the stuff off...and geez it is a lot better... mind you I can't control an MR car to stay on the track once the back end breaks but it sure is fun :(

Those that think the driving isn't 'realistic' enough for them really need to turn off t/c, asm, abs, etc. and you'll see how bad you really are...

been trying out B Spec...I dunno about you but it looks so pointless. There's really not much you can do in terms of management...and how do you make the time go quicker? GT4 you could do it double time to make it go quicker...

The amuse carbon R, you win it at some point (I did), so don't bother buying it.

are you f**king kidding me i spent 250 000 on it today..........

its lots of fun to drive. Not as quick as a fully worked R35 but more fun. Basically a carbon fibre RWD 34R

I finally purchased a R33 GTR and it's exactly like the real thing! Right down to the way the ATESSA-ETS catapults the car the other way if you counter-steer mid-corner with your foot on the accelerator! Not too sure about the sound of the engine though, my old rb26 didn't sound like that, lol.

do you mean to say people actually use all that BS? i've had everything off, except abs on 1 because i would lock up every time otherwise. the joys of the controller

yup, all the TC etc off, except 1 notch of ABS. only way to drive.

i prefer to do it more like how the car comes from the factory. old cars i turn abs off. new cars that have abs standard i leave it on.

shits me off when people say "pfft, you are driving with abs on, i have it turned off so it's more realistic" when you are talking about a car that has abs standard, because it would be more realistic to leave it on and possibly even turn it up a few notches, LOL

    • That looks good, but I think you're going to need much beefier side skirts now.
    • They are daft and there's a reason it never caught on. Steering feel? We don't need no stinking steering feel!
    • I gotta pull you up on this. It's driving me crazy. A shutter is something that closes, like over a window or in a cmera. The word you want is shudder. That LSD is clearly f**ked. Take it to a diff shop and get it disassembled and examined by an expert. YOu might have plates welded together or something equally crazy.
    • Define "starting to fail". Wy not just rebuild them?
    • Check the Nistune doco. There are a few assumptions being made here that might not be valid. I will list the things that occur to me: Base map. Base map for what? Base map for Z32? Then the cranking pulse width is probably wrong for an RB25. The extra 500cc of capacity might well be enough to prevent it from catching. Base map for RB25? I don't think you can load one of those into a Z32. You have to just make the settings correct for an RB25 in the Z32 base map. That is either K or the TIM to get the pulsewidth right. Loom. You bought a loom for an RB. And you plugged it into a Z32 ECU. Did you make sure that any iwre differences were swapped. From memory, there's at least a couple. And as per the others, I would suggest making sure that the fuel pressure is correct while cranking and that the injectors are actually flowing as expected. They really must come out and go on the bench, unless you do find that you have messed up as per above points. I would also suggest watching in Nistune to make sure that everything is reading correctly. That the correct binary flags are raised at the right time (like the crank signal), that there's no stupid values in K or TIM. That you have not got mismatched firmware for the ECU and/or a wrong image loaded.
