The one I heard was that his house was burnt down in a revenge attack. I've met Pettet before, back when my car was pretty stock. He also attended a 300+ car cruise I was on just to keep things in check. Was it a dark reddish/maroonish 4th gen Prelude? I had one around that area at 12:30am speed up beside me then slow to my pace and drop a gear and floor it ahead... then slowed to my pace again and drop a gear again and race ahead. He did that 3 times before realising I wasn't going to even bother with him and I turned off.
