My mate is 6'7", and doesn't fit in anything. However he really wants an import.

He's considering an Evo, although he'd much rather a RWD car. Soarers too he'd probably fit but 95% of them are automatics.

What other options are there? Do 300xz's have roomy driver seats? Aristos? R34s seem a bit taller, would he fit in that?

Cheers.

Supra, 6 spd, 2JZGTE, super strong drivetrain/motor etc with none of the oil problems and bullsh!t skylines have. Dont rule out the auto's though, they're deceptivly quick - and for the same price as a multiplate manual clutch you can build the box to hold 1000hp with no probs.

There's heaps of headroom in my one, (jza80 tt) if you need even more though - go buy some BRIDE seats :)

Bolt on turbo, ecu, injectors, manifold, dump pipe, zorst, fmic, fuel pump, clutch - maybe coilpacks etc and there's 450rwkw

Thats why i bought one, but then you already knew that cause you've got one :)

buy a chaser, much more foot and headroom, same power, more comfort.

Aristos have a bit of room however 100% of them are automatics.

a 6'7 guy would look funny as f**k gettin out of a supe, or most of the lower sitting imports. I'm 6'4 and jus put up with it, aftermarket seats can help. would be a pain though poor bastard...

lol. As much as I love the Supra he simply did not fit in mine. I'm 6' exactly and I have quite a bit of head room so I thought he'd be fine, but no such luck. 6'7" really is just huge.

Im 6'6" and fit in my r33... just.

Quick steering is a bit of a problem cause of the knees but if you adjust the seat right (drop the bottom part as low as it goes, tighten up side supports and lean back a bit) you wont have too much drama.

I would recommend an aftermarket seat with lower modified rails so the seat slides back a bit more, oh and a dished steering wheel to clear them knees, but only if hes after an older one with no airbag coz otherwise youre stuck with the stock item.

^^^ Bahahaha....

Im 6'6 and fit into my 33.... barely though.... ill be lookin into modify seat rails.... one day ...lol...

it makes drifting with handbrake almost impossible, ya knee is always in the way ... fustrating...

but cannot think of anything else that would suit his size thats already suggested... whatev he decides just modify the rails... not sure if its that legal though...

I beat you all

6'8

202cm when standing straight

201cm now with no kneecaps after 12 surgeries

thats like 204cm 6'9 with shoes on

so, the car of choice is obvious - Nissan C34 Stagea

series 1 or 2, sunroof is fine

automatic Awd or manual Rwd

If your mate wants a manual Rwd Stagea he'll need a S2 as the seat is better, S1 seats sit you up a little higher

Ive had my Stagea for over 4yrs now, and have just recently changed the drivers seat out for a D1 Saas seat - sits lower and a little back

Nice leg room, admittedly I did lengthen the seat rail as one of the 1st mods, so yeah Id suggest buying a $200 'bride' seat rail from justjap and use that with stock/race seat

Stagea with 250rwkw is simply WIN

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
