If you live in a backstreet, camp out and get one car to wait up one end of the street, and one down the bottom. Have CB's on hand and when they strike call out both cars to block the road. Watch them shit themselves.

Murphy's Law has it that they will stop the night you decide to camp out. I haven't been egged since installing my surveilance system...what a coincidence.

I hate the little B-stards that do it. I had my R32 done 3 months after I bought it and it was baked on, on a 35 degree day. Also had Mum's Outback done last week also, but managed to wash it off before it got a chance to wreck the paint.:happy:

If you catch them use some rotten eggs on them so they might think twice about doin it again.

i got egged while driving a couple of years ago, but to their bad luck my mate was driving 100metres behind me at the time, in a holden rodeo with country style bull bar that was not afraid

to use on the back of their vw golf, it never hapaned again on that stretch of road.

I've copped an egg from a car on the other side of an 80km/h road (so combined impact speed of approx. 160km/h). Chipped the paint down to the primer. Had my window open so could have been bad. With the sound it made I thought it was just stones that flung up until I got home and saw egg shell.

I'll probably regret saying this after I get flamed by everyone, but for a very short time of my life (probably about 3 or 4 times) I used to be one of those little sh*ts egging parked cars, many years ago. A couple years later once I was on the road, I received my share of eggings which I deserved.

For the record I never egged an import, these were usually old beaten up cars, but wrong none-the-less

Can't stress enough to invest in a car cover if you are parked outside!

^^ At least your honest. Most people used to do stupid things when they were young. And realize how bad and annoying it is later.

I for one was wan of those little turds that thought collecting badges was cool. 13-14years old.

Id like to add, that i only ever took a pulsar "P" and a Mitsubishi symbol :( And i never damaged anything.. i had a little 'respect' LOL like an honest thief.

But then, i got my karma. 1st nice expensive ITR. F + R red H badges pried off with a screwdriver. f**ked the boot lid and bonnet.

Have been egged too. Dirty broad minded person X GF... lol glad it was only a Poolude and she hit glass. Dont think she quite realized the damage she could have done if she knew how bad it was on paint ;) Silly bitch.

Not egged but years ago on one of my previous cars (Calibra Turbo) when it was only a few years old, I had white paint splashed all over my bonnet. Not nice considering the car was red in colour. They also slashed both left side tyres.

Then I got my R33, they pried off the rear "Nissan" badge off the boot which as you all know covers the boot lid lock...

Bastards! I bet it was the same people as both times it was parked outside my then GF's place.

LOL I'm the opposite. I've copped so many eggs in my time - been out there at 2AM scrubbing off bullshit egg stains. I was never one to do it as a youngin either. So I thought I'd balance out the universe a few months ago and give it a go...it's actually quite fun!

I'm really paranoid about this one happening.

It hasnt happened yet though...*touches wood*

Although: my boyfriend has the same car as me, R34 GT-T and his car was at my house one weekend (right next to mine) and someone stole his badges (quite possibly during broad daylight)

He was planning on debadging but was pissed off because they chipped the paint and everything.

I'm definitely going to be buying a house with a proper garage when i get to buying the house..

I got egged a couple of months ago when i was out on a sturday night. Came home pretty drunk and just happened to stumble over near my car to find eggs all over the bonnet, roof and bootlid. Talk about pissed off!! Spent a good hour and a half trying to get it all off wth the hose, obviously couldnt drive it to a carwash, and luckily i was able to get it off and buff out the scratches from the egg shell.

Ended up finding out which local tools did it though and their time will come very soon, i wont be using eggs though

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
