i hope you don't have a heavy right foot

nah actually I'm shifting my gears around 2.5k RPM at the moment.

Want to get used to the twin plates before increasing the weight on

my right foot :P and I really want to see how many Kms from full tank

if I granny the car. Hopefully I can get 400+ kms from this tank!

Thanks mate, my missus knew how much I want a GTR. When I was driving a Corolla and she saw me

drooling over a GTR on the road every time one drove past and I've been talking about GTR for the last

4-5 years so she did not object me from buying one :P

Hope you will get to buy one in the future mate. Tell her it's your car your money :D

Tell her it's your car your money

If only it worked that way. ;)

I'm lucky, mine wants to build a drag car. :D Too bad I want to drift ...

As above though, awesome car mate, enjoy it!

I'm quite jealous!

Yea my missus' pretty cool with the GTR. But I know what you're talking about. Sometimes its like "my money is my money and your money is my money".

Compare to my old car which was the corolla 2005 :( She's way way quicker.

very stable on the freeway and in the corner.

Before I've come across this R32, I've test drive the R33 GTR from another dealer in

Dandenong, the R33 was no where near as good as this one. Felt engine worn yeahh

not as fast :P The km on the clock was 93,xxx something but it was an aftermarket

nismo dash. The dude reckon it's the genuin Kms on the car, and the car is a Vspec.

So I just walked away didn't bother calling him back or anything

Please correct me if I'm wrong about the nismo dash. I think even if the car is a Vspec

it still should come with normal dash yeah? not the 320km/hour one.

If yours is pretty much standard and if you don't drive it aggressively, then YES you can definitely get 400+kms from the tank.

Because mine is stock standard and it always gets more than 400 kms every single time.

I drive 60% on freeway and 40% on hwy.

The best I remember is 1 litre ~ 8.2 klms (or 12 litres for 100 kms). I refilled when at 460-470klms (really conservative driving  )

But there is no fun to drive slow all the time ... that's not what we get this car for isn't it? :(:):D

So my average is 1 litre ~ 7.7 klms (normal driving + a bit aggressive from time to time)

Is that for full tank? Not bad see ;) .. try cleaning the afms will help a bit too :D ..

i hate driving in cbd

can't imagine how you drive with a twin plate ..

think i'm gonna try a cushioned button when it's due for replacement ..

so enjoy the car  .. i only have mine for a year and to me it's a great car ..

treat it well and i believe you'll always enjoy it

Nismo is an optional 900+ dollar replacement. sorta helps to know how fast ur really going if you take the limiter off of your carrrr :P

man it look sweet as nice buy

Thanks mate!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
