I really dig these rims but I have doubts they will clear the front calipers. Look at the amount of space behind the face of the rim, there's not much clearance there for M35 calipers.

Actually I just found out those rims are made for Toyota Harriers. They have tiny calipers up front so my guess could be right.

very nice!! glad to see there is another Aero Selection RX in the country! Most of them appear to be RS models.

was weird seeing yours with the 2 din console. that area SHOULD have been woodgrain, but looks like it has been swapped out to suit the double din.......

hey guys,

I put on my koya kahn 20" wheels today...looks really nice.

also bought an apexi air panel filter too.

My stagea also has adjustable coilovers front and rear....I realized tonight

that the rear has the shocker and coil separated..

The rear needs to be a tad lower...just wonder how to do this...never adjustabed coilovers before.

I will get a photos up soon! ;)

Most of the aftermarket suspension for the M35 stagea with an adjustable height is done through a threaded section at the base of the spring.

Have a look on the base of the spring.

Most of the rear spring adjusters use C spanners, I have a few different sizes if you need to use one. Did the adjusting spanners come with the car in one of the rear compartments?

The threaded part will probably sit above the spring with 2 locking rings, just take the wheel off and wind it up.

Make sure the rear shock still has full travel and doesnt bottom out when you put the weight back on it.

thanks boys....I put new Pillar plastics in today i got from Japan...if anyone wants some that has tweeter spots you can get them off me cheap :D

as for the HKS muffler that will be for sale soonish....make me an offer...first reasonable offer i will accept and hold it for you :)

De-badge the rear tonight also...looks allot nicer!

Put in an apexi air filter too...found out its the same panel filter for s13,s14,s15 and skylines etc :)

thanks for the info on the coilovers too, I dont have any C spanners...cant find any in the boot, shattered!

Will a big flat head screwdriver work decent or f**k the slot on the locking tab? :)

You can bash away on your car with screwdrivers and hammers if you like :D , but you're better off to go and buy the correct tools for the job, c-spanners work so much better and don't damage anything.

I'd measure the dia of the collars, and give just jap, otomoto or someone who imports coilovers a call, see if they will sell you the spanners. Most coilover kits seem to have very similar hardware, several different brands coming out of the same factories, I would be surprised if you can't get hold of something suitable. Alternatively, you can buy proper C-spanners,(forged steel, chrome plated), not just profile cut steel, from most reputable tool suppliers (not supercheap, etc).

I could make you a pair if you like, its just a bit of filing. Other than that, a good toolshop will definitely order them in.

Maybe stageas with an RB in it is justified or we might as well start calling it nissanpathfinder .com

So are you saying the VL commodore is ok too, as long as its an RB30? Oh thats right the Patrol had the same motor.

So I suppose but that rational the R35 with its VR engine and no recognition of being a Skyline should not be on here either.

I never realized by allowing other performance Nissan's a site, it was hurting your poor little ego. You must have been put to shame on the raod by a M35 for you to feel so inadequate.

      Just as a thought, if it's in neutral, thats your drive line disconnect, not the clutch. Clutch slip at the dyno with pedal fully out, is actually adding a second disconnect. So it's not a clutch issue if you're in neutral. Just a bit of friction dragging the output around while in the air.

      The HG high flow is excellent, and costs about the $$ you're talking about. But it, and probably every other highflow, uses a diffeent core than the original turo, and the original Hitatchi core is quite long. So, I think it is inevitable that there is likely no such thing as a highflow that just "bolts on" with no other effort required. And the same is likely true for HG's outright replacement "bolt on" turbos (the ATR things). And the same is likely true for anything similar from elsewhere. I have no idea if the cheap Chinese/Taiwanese complete turbos from eBay/Temu/etc are as bolt on as they claim. I mean, they claim the bolt onto the NAs as well as the turbos, and we know that can't be "bolt on". But it wouldn't matter because I'm not buying a $169 4 psi turbo for anything other than a paddock basher.

      Bummer...yeah i "need" something to "ease" up the work and for my driving it would be enough.    Iam counting the tune "without" turbo. I do not mean "cheap" like something from Temu around 200 USD, "Cheap" is something around 1000 USD?

      Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.

      So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!
