M35 Brembo Brake Coversion

What are you guys paying for Brembos? I have a set of D2s on the front of my Stagea - cost about NZ$2k but I think there is a group buy on this site run by R31Nismoid.

Would rather pay 2k and no import var tax than 800 and half of car value in import tax.....

I paid about $900 for front and rear 350z brembos delivered from the UK. That's including pads with heaps of meat left.

Just digging this up as I need some clarification.

For those who have performed the Z33 / V35 Brembo caliper upgrade, did you upgrade the brake lines as well?

Obviously upgrade lines is preferable but can I get away with the standard lines?

You would have to keep the stock lines, as there are no cheap braided options.

You will need to modify a few parts...

I put Stoptech braided lines on mine. Can't remember how much they were though. Part Number 950.42503

So those have 3 parts not 2? The G35X was the awd one, so they should bolt on, just like you described.

Maltech wanted $700 the set back when I fitted mine... Thanks for that Adam, we should get a group buy started on them.

Stock brake lines fit Brembo's; only the banjo bolt threads are different.

They will work fine.

What do you mean by 3 parts Scotty? They are full replacement - single braided line from solid line to caliper. I'll take some pics over the weekend some time.

I guess I could organise group buy, however seeing that I already have a set there is not really anything in it for me...unless you want to organise front and rear sway bars for me Dale?

If they don't have the oem mounting blocks they are useless to me.

Well if Equilibrise is claiming he's found the correct lines with the brackets included I'd be interested...but I'm pretty sure I bought mine from CZ as well and they were for the G35X...
