There's a full Freeway Dolphin intercooler kit on there atm.

Yeah been watching it for days. Have contacted seller, has no leaks just cosmetic damage. Lets all bid on it and push the price up. :P

Same deal with a zorst on there at moment. Has to go dead cheap or all the fees and transport kill!

Had been thinking there might be some way the SAU M35 community could some how communicate to avoid pushing importmonster prices up?

Matt

im finding import monster just charging way too much.

i got a nm35 nismo dash.. the bid cost me $428 to win the auction.

to get it to my house.. its just shy of $700 including shipping and import monsters fees. and it weighs less than your shit.

ive got a local there who can get whatever i want for import monster and avoid the tarrifs..and im going start using him.

(direct from yahoo).

when the auction costs 35,000 yen to win and then import monster chucks on 7000 yen of their own it gets expensive.

are we talking about the front bar?

theres a few but there all fairly damaged n dont come with the grille

thats exactly what i thought.. rip off merchants selling us dodgy bars for high prices.

im not going for it.

notice the impul car.. it was advertised mutliple times as either the whole kit in some auctions and in others it was broken up in pieces.

it made no sense.. like one auction they wanted 800$ for the two side skirts than another they wanted 1700 for the two side skirts and the front bar... absolute jokers.

i personally reckon you did the right thing.. i reckon the hdi is better than the dolphin.

Even at the current price $357 the SH Dolphin through importmonster would come to about $790 sea, $830 air (over double the sale price) so no point ....except has an intake kit with it.

Got a key to reprogram through them and it went from $20 sale price to around $50 delivered - realy seems to much.

Now fingers crossed no one else bids on the zorst! HINT

just won a zorst through IM.....awesome :)

Sorry Old Gregg....only kidding  good luck hope you get it!

BTW....read earlier you have prob's....what is it?

P.S. Best way is to keep quite with IM....if I mentioned to all you guy's that there was a Nismo ECU on IM for $450 would you bid against me? wont work....would love it to but there will always be someone out there who will cut your grass....best bet is if you find it to keep quite if it rare!

Other forums have tried having 2 posts - one to give others a heads up there is item "x" if anyone is interested - another to "shotgun I saw it first lets not push the price up". All that happens is people use both as a source of items to bid on. So you are right you just shut up and hope no one else finds it! That Dolphin inter kit would already cost $967 delivered by sea through IM - $489 looks OK but not once you add the extras!

re the probs - transmission? - company purchased from is paying to truck it to Sydney so they can make sure it is fixed properly even though the re5ro5a is a pretty common one. Local mechanics can't even tell for sure is trans as it seems to have put the motor into limp but not put up any codes or warning lights.

I thought it was turbo to start with! Whinning and no power all of a sudden going up a hill.

i gotta stop looking through import monster.. i need to tune n get some injectors first. lol i wanna buy everything at once!

its so tempting so spend lots of money on there Aaron!

Keir, i agree! it was a fairly straight forward install with no cutting required. the worst part fo me was pushing the clips through the radiators for the replacement thermo fan

yeah wouldnt let it worry you mate.. mines held up fine and its heat resitant plastic.. they wont snap, and the radiator fins will take the load its quite light! just sketchy that i got the wires the right way :?

plus if they dont for whatever reason the HDI Kit comes with brackets for the fan, depening of the sizer of the Radiator fan. mine held and saved the cuts on my hand trying to push clips though.

but everyone to their own i guess

my HDi kit didnt come with a new fan, did yours??

nah its didnt? I know when I spoke to the "stupid in-coherant call centre advisor" from HDI said that some authorise sellers actually add the fan for our kit coz they were familiar that the fan had to be changed. but mine didnt. does matter I picked one up on ebay for $48 free shipping. tested it n it works fine.. although its rarely uses since our fan doesnt turn on till 108 degrees anyway..i managed to hit the temp once.. then realised my water needed to be topped up lol plus a 35 degree day did the trick.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
