I need new Tie Rod Ends for my R33, and i need them quick, as my car is booked in for the 10th for new tyres and install of the new Tie Rod Ends, before the Track Day. What are peoples thoughts on this and this

call tom at autopro reynella, he hooked me up with some decent ones with grease fittings for cheaper and within a few hours, i have the tools to split them off the rack and pinion link abe

Should have had a look here first, as I have just ordered a set from Grand Nissan...anyone got spare appendages I can have to pay for them (around $300 for a set, ready for pick up on Wednesday). I am having them fitted on Saturday along with new Tyres, and a Wheel Alignment, Tyres $260 Each, Fitting of Rod Ends & Wheel Alignment $70.

So what IP's is everyone using and what sorta clams they worth a month?? My contract with Vodafone is just about over and i wanna upgrade

If you want all out quota with shit customer service, go TPG. If you dont mind paying a little bit more for quality service, go the Node.

I've got KTS adjustable tie rod ends for an R33 laying around, extra lock etc. Interested?

If you cant have Internode or any other ADSL service at your location like myself; Telstra cable is f**king brilliant - although a little expensive, unless you get a bundled deal including your land line.

but fark me its fast. i wouldnt even bother with ADSL if it were available to me. it would be like going back to dial up!

God damn. Over 400 pre-orders for the Nissan Silvia hoodies!

How many of those orders will actually be fulfilled?

BTW whats with SAU? Everytime I post something it takes forever to submit. Is there some new screening process installed that slows everything down?

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
