Hi all,

The time is almost upon us! Official date for entry is Dec 7th however garages and carports are up grabs NOW!

Myself and a mate have just purchased ourselves a garage :D Cant wait!!

My first time was Powercruise early this year and i must say, was a highlight of the year behind the wheel.

The earlier you enter and pay the cheaper it is. All info can be found here---> http://www.powercruise.com

So get your bums into gear and get in early, it would be great to have a big SAU group attend.

Drag, Drift, Power skids, Cruising, Show 'n' Shine, Burnouts it has it all. Great for spectators, a million times better for entrants!

So who is going???

Sorry enthusiast, it's called 'Power'cruise not nugget cruise lol.

I've got my garage sorted, gonna fill out the form and send it off today....Powerskid, tick, drags, tick, cruise...hell yeah. Can't wait but have a lot of work to do before then!!

I dont think my gearbox would handle the powerskid comp  Dont want to risk blowing it and ruining the weekend.

Entering everything else though.

Couldnt get to the post office today, stupid car had me tied up. Have to send it express tomorrow.

Well my car is at the panel beaters today for some repairs thanks to a milkshake tow truck driver. 5 weeks out and I've been promised the car back in a month, which gives me a week to put it back together.

Worse case scenario I'll put some goggles on and drive it with no windscreen under primer. I'm not missing this for anything!!

Jeez man! My fingers are crossed for you.

Get this, putting all my bits back together and the wastegate fouls on the covers!! So now i have to tow the car to my metal shop and cut up a newly ceramicoated exhaust housing to get it to fit, then get everything re-ceramicaoted, then tow the car back home again

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
