with only 400kw you will need to have your car on a major diet.

This is why lapdance will be funny. Its going to be a wierd cross section of cars with different approaches to going fast. It saddens me when 400rwkws is meeted with an "only" statement.

...and 1.32s will be an amazing effort. That is V8 Supercar/Carrera Cup pace but onslicks. Sure, they run control slicks that may not be the best things out there....but for a DIY to be on that pace then will be a great effort. I think more like 1:34s will be the pace on semis .... and for the GTSt crowd anyone that can get under a 1:47 gets a lap dance paid for by me by one of the fine ladies that hangs out at the Shell servo down the road at 1am

I know it's an expensive track day but the atmosphere isn't like another track day. I'm glad I did it last year at least.

Are there any other track days in the week or so leading up? I've never seen EC except on a tv

Agreed, and I plan to be there crewing for Mark and Russ anyway so I might as well drag my pussa down too

the V8Super car games on playstation 2 etc have eastern creek in it. you'll pick it up pretty quick though anyway once you get there.

If you can keep the corner speed up you'lll be fine with less power. I get hammered down the straights however no brakes into turn 1 at 170-180 in the '5 and keep up and overtake some people through the corners. get to main striahgt and am overtaken and repeat!

I cant wait to see Brights R32 GTR peddle around EC..Seen it blast past control tower at a super sprint but think he would really stretch his legs at this event!

I say 400 because i know of many cars that will be running 400kw-500kw at the wheels plus the fact they are light ie, 1200-1400kgs.

Looks like it will be a race filled with big evo's 1-2 fast gtrs, maybe a lotus or two and heaps of cars that should be in the street class this year as you can do most things in that class anyway.

Well wheni moved to Vic, i kept my NSW plates for about 2 years but then it was easier to join all teh savages down here and get Vic rego. Vic Roads are not right in the head charging what they do ... so i never got the Vic equiv
