iamhe77
Mmm, need to find some way of jigging these up off the car. Anybody got a spare turbo laying around? Can get an ARX to maybe make up a jig? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/296472-fisher-mk2-suction-pipe/page/3/#findComment-4965188 Share on other sites

iamhe77
Ok guys, so there has been a fair bit of interest in this thread and a few of you have spoken to me about them (and Scott too I assume)... .... but Scotty has (finally) decided to make the "Fisher mk2" suction pipe for you guys in and outside of Victoria! As you can see in this thread, the difference it made to Scotty's car was an additional 22kw at all four wheels (taken from RE Customs dyno) and you can read what difference it made with my car which has no aftermarket ECU or tuning earlier in this thread. Kits will be as pictured in post#1 and made up off a stock turbo/intake ARX or RS and will include; Lower half of pipe wrapped in ceramic heat wrap All Silicone joiners and stainless steel clamps Barbs in place for BOV return and breather hose Extension and clamps for BOV pipe Both turbo and airbox flanges welded onto pipe, ready to bolt up The only item that you will need is your stock Air Flow Sensor and air flow sensor pipe. You WILL need to cut 25mm from the flange end of the AFS pipe. The only other thing you will need is time to fit it. Kits are priced at $450 + shipping *** Please note that the intake kits will be made up off an M35 with stock turbo and stock airbox/intake, some modification may be required to fit your vehicle *** Edited December 2, 2009 by iamhe77 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/296472-fisher-mk2-suction-pipe/page/3/#findComment-4967230 Share on other sites

My car has stockie exhaust... do u reckon it would make a big difference? LordMidol
Awesome. That was a pretty useless question though. As if I'd post asking for help and be ignored. Stagea forum is uber helpful. But yes, I am interested. Very. By interested I mean I want one Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/296472-fisher-mk2-suction-pipe/page/3/#findComment-4970632 Share on other sites

euroequip
yup - its getting to the stage people will start buying stageas BECAUSE of the forum (if that isn't already happening) Has anyone been able to install one of these in Qld? would love one but crapping myself at the thought of DIYing it. scotty nm35
The issue is not installing it but making sure it fits your car as its very tight in there as you can imagine. I can make one and fit it to my car to make sure its ok, then send it up but thats time consuming, and my car is off the road for a day, easier to fit it straight to your car if you werent so far away. Planning a trip south soon? Detailed info to fit it is no problem, easy for a mechanically minded person. Definitely a must do mod if you have highflowed your turbo or plan to. wht510
Sorry to ask a stupid question, but I assume Scotty's car is running aftermarket ECU (haltech piggy or what ever it was?) If you were running standard ECU, what would the benefit be? extra fuel economy is definitely a bonus! iamhe77
Scotty is running an eManage Ultimate piggyback on his car. I have only the standard ECU. If you want to know the difference it makes, refer to the bottom of the first post Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/296472-fisher-mk2-suction-pipe/page/3/#findComment-5532307 Share on other sites
