Who's up for a grip day at Mallala in Januaray or February in the new year?

Just checking numbers before I make some phone calls to check costs etc.

Dunno about you guys, but im itching to get the GTR out on the track while we have some nice weather!

I already have 4 friends interested.

If numbers are down, ive been told we can have a half grip and half skid day??

Nigel.

Interested in a full day of grip, thought you would be limited to 10 with the slip?

yeh im under the impression 20 for grip, 10 for slip.

I would prefer 20 people out there for grip.

*wants to scratch itch*

Nigel atm I'll say I would love to come in Feb but I can't see my GT-R being ready for any grip fun.

But I'll take it as it comes and who knows it might be ready.

Either way I'll come and watch

I'm there... just know that me and Steve are organising a club day for a grip session at Mallala in the new year also. Looking around April for the date

I'll hang out for this. I wont take my car out to the track over summer as it doesn't run to well in the heat, April should be nice and cool again.

I'd be keen but don't know whether I'll have the GTR back by then. I suppose I could always take the Peugeot out again.

When you contact Clem see if we can increase the numbers to 24 - ie 3 groups of 8. That way it reduces the cost for everyone and as we saw at the last track day there is a fairly high drop out rate amongst the Skylines as the day progresses. This will be even more apparent if the weather is hot.

sounds like i might be ready for this fingers crossed

shakedown :P

Well. if thats the case Luke, I might as well wait for that day!

Just bear in mind it will be Me +3 (if my mates are still welcome?)

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
