Ah not again...so sorry to hear this...OMG!!!

It's distinctive alright...I'll keep an eye out and will tell me friends to do the same too...with all the Blitz cop stuff going on at the moment, I'm sure they'll be stopped...I suggest you go to the cops ASAP to report this.

Kevin

I'll keep my eyes peeled in Northern suburbs, but I do a fair bit of travelling all over.. and I don't think a car like that can be missed so fingers crossed someone here can help get those bastards!

Sorry to hear mate!

Car spotted in Footscray!!!! I saw two males - one African and I Asian...I chased the fuuckersss down Ballarat road but lost them at St. Albans . I suggest you contact local police asap...does the car's engine have mechanical issues? As it sounded quite rooted.

FERAH - I tried calling you, CALL ME KEVIN ASAP: 0411 381 824. I just saw those fuccckaas again, heading towards Altona via Geelong road, I think they live around the West Footscray/Altona/Braybrook area...they look like homeless fuccckass...definitely one black guy and one asian dude (not being racist) but that's why they are...I don't have either of my Skylines so cannot chase them was on the fucckeennn bus home from work.

CALL ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS OR GET YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO DRIVE AROUND THAT AREA AND YOU'LL BOUND TO SEE THE FUCCKAS...I cannot believe how casual they seemed...acted normally...definitely saw the car's rego as WXT 166.

I'll keep an eye out. I'm in Melton but have mates in st albans and altona. I've seen the car once just near watergardens. It's definitely not going to blend in like a camry!!

f*ken bastards!!!!

I'd keep an eye out for it at the on ramp from the ring road onto the westgate city bound, just to teh left down teh hill, there is a park. I have seen a few cars down there all stripped down to the shells. Saw a WRX there once when I drove to work, was there for probab;y a week before it was stripped.

Ferah, after speaking with you - I'm very pleased that you had recovered the vehicle but am sorry to hear that it was returned rather damaged. Allow me to take liberty in posting your Ebay ad here in hope that other Toyota Aristo fans may support the sale.

Mechanically the car is still fine...I'm sure the body work is restorable with some patient and handy work. Damn bastards...when I last saw it, it was fine...what a bunch of bastardds...hope they get caught and hung!

It was nice talking to you again. Have not seen you for months.

Kevin

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
    • Good luck on the weekend mate

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
