How about a sensor between the outside of the track and the apex that is triggered by the transponder in the car?

Miss the apex and you get full KERS voltage thru your scrotum.

Max Mosley would probably run thru the chicane every time but I reckon it would be a little distracting and self regulating.

lol

I'd say that was a legitimate problem, however brief

lol, sure it was, just as webz needed to pass sv, the fact he needed some points to stay in the championship running didn't hurt either! I doubt that told sv about it, just turn it down, call it a "problem" and see if they get away with it then sv gets right back onto the pace if not faster!

im no fan of sv's personality but it's hard to deny he has pace. I'm still barracking the home team though.

I can't really see Webber winning it, although if he does it'll be good that once again there's a new champion particularly for a guy who has clearly not been able to show what he's truly capable of, and in a different way to Button last year being given a crazily quick car in comparison to the rest of the field.

I'm somehow still of the belief that Vettel can clinch it. Years of supporting Kimi does this to you I suppose :D

Sure, but Charlie Farking Cox as a replacement!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Why not John Watson who commentates for Sky Sports?? He was in F1 for quite a few years and in a 'well spoken' Briton (Well he's North Irish but what the hell).

Surely he would be better than Cox/Allen/Legard ect ect....

Please no, we don't want Charlie Cocks, no thanks!

As long as it isnt eddie f**king jordan

sif there could be any worse team-mate for Sook Vet than Kimi

guarantee Kimi headbutts him first round if they drive together

Would be funny ... but only if Marky Mark had a McLaren drive, which is going to happen the day after Satan gets frostbite

Could happen if they decide that they want an actually fast driver to partner dickhead.

    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
