That's a good question.

One day, my friend's dad told me about how this car couldn't compete in the V8s because of a rule change. And I was like hey this car must be pretty ****ing sweet if it kicks the shit outa supercars! Then I started looking them up a lot on the net and by this point I didn't know the difference between 32, 33, 34 (not to mention 30, 31).

So I initially liked skylines because of the Rs in that they are an amazing car both in a straight line and around the corners. Then i learned about the other GT's and found there's more to skylines than GTRs.

/end pointless talking.

trade mark round tail lamps, jap technology, sexy, fast

Not that I own one yet, but I like them coz I want something unique, I'm sorta in country VIC and a 4-door GTS would look hot out here among all the bloody holdens and fords

ya gotta also love 'em for their reliability (a common thing with all jap cars; they're as though as nails)

oh, and ya gotta love a car that knows the value of AWD

loved em since I saw em at bathurst in 1990 and 1991 (my cuz used to take me to it)... and I figured when i grew up I wanted a sierra or a gtr.

As fate would have it my first car was an import (a toyota sera), as was my second car (a strawberry face 180). So naturally by then I was hooked on imports... so a skyline would be the ultimate dream. I haven't got that Bathurst GTR yet, but one day...

I like em coz they're efficient, technologically advanced for their time, cheap to maintain and a great car to drive. Oh and very responsive to mods, which are also relatively cheap n bountiful. I like the fact that its a modular car, every single part on it can be upgraded to better aftermarket parts.

Ever since I was small I've liked gettin accessories n upgrades. Its like buying a toy and then building it to some mean ass beast, you get to pick what to upgrade, and by how much.

Me too... since Bathurst '91/'92.

As Dave says, you can't go wrong with one. And I've officially fallen in love with the V35... yes, you heard me!:)

And what does your wife think about having to share your love with a hunk of metal? :)

i know what type of milf owned your car.. a milf with a turbo charged skyline and a "fully sick" bov just to show off to the young ones then did stuff in the back seats with em :)

Mines a slightly modified (exhaust wise) non turbo

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
