Not bad. There are two interesting things about the ad. 1. The person put their entire address; I have not seen that before on EBAY. 2. The person is selling it for the engine really though there are no pictures of the engine bay. Silly.

That's the kind of thing I am looking for - I'd buy that one if it were anywhere near Sydney!

Just gave the guy a quick call.

"Car was owned by his Nan who is now in a home. Was pretty much in the family for most of its life. Engine is in great shape, body isn't bad with only the usual rust and the guard and door as pictured. Already been a lot of interest in this one and a few people have already made the trip out to check it out." Guy selling it didn't really know much about the car, just selling because of Nan obviously.

Hope this helps, personally I want to throw some bids on but it's no C110 :P. I told him to please please sell to an enthusiast not to someone who is just going to strip it down :).

Door to Door Car Transport will get it to you for about $800.00 so where is your problem.

And cheaper depot to depot. You could tray-truck to Melbourne then use one of the major companies to transport from Melbourne to Sydney.

maybe cause is was a c110 gtr look a like, and not a rusted and smashed up piece of shit c210? :D

was planing on bidding on it but prices got too high for an unrwc car

So your expecting a cleanish c210 to pop up for bugger all?

It supply an demand, people want one, not many around, prices go up.

Have a look at gt falcons..

That brown c210 coupe is still sitting at a house in tullamarine.

Someone here spoke to him?

Go make a offer.

Also I think it has a element of luck involved,

these two cost me $700, and $750, the 4 door took 2 years to get (a old woman had it since new, garaged all its life), the coupe, well I've been looking for even longer (5 + years) and my other 4 door cost me $1200, but that was 8 or 9 years ago,

The bigger issue is that there are no more C210 LHD dashboards available. So any c210, coupe or sedan, will be sent over as a half cut, regardless of condition to supply parts to existing cars.

Interestingly, Kuwaitis seem to prefer the 240k sedan to the coupe, but both are in super high demand, and go for serious money.

The other interesting change in Kuwait is that previously no-one would put anything but an injected/Holley L28 in their early Skyline, but now RB conversions are becoming popular.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
