I really want a Supra but I can't really justify spending an extra $5000 just for a manual transmission. I'm only keeping this car for about a year.

It's 3 years newer for $5k more (starting price..) If all else is equal that's not a big difference in price for a 3 year newer car..

why not get the AWD r34 then add in the rb25det later on (i have no idea if this is possible)

Its probably the most complicated engine swap to do as far as Skylines go.

oh no, there's a 1.8L carby R32 that is a headfuck to put an RB26DETT into. that could possibly be a touch harder.

At the end of the day its easier and much much cheaper to sell a car and buy one with the same specs, than to try and upgrade it.

get another hobby, like kidnapping prostitutes

make sure you grab the independant ones. the ones with pimps are a mess to clean up after, and usually you have to dispose of bodies.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuu was changing sparkplugs and one of the coilpack connectors crumbled. Now im down one cylinder and car stuck at friends house :D

How much would a coilpack loom cost from Nissan?

JustJap has them IIRC.

coz guys who buy V35's in oz want them as cheap alternatives to IS300's. they're not very courageous when it comes to mods.

there's a few guys in QLD who have baller V35's tho, but after talkin to them, they cbf with forums.

i was thinking about grabbing one, but now i want to see what happens with this toyo FT86 thing.

Whats the go with jspec's website? did it really get hacked or did everyone just get over it?

You'll be waiting a while before it affects australia in any way.

<rant>Most of the guys who buy IS350's are guys who just got into the 60K plus job market, are working profesional jobs and wanna impress their mates with a fancy car with a label that is somewhat luxurious. They're the same wankers that buy base model Mercs and 3 series Beemers. Likewise most of the guys who buy V35's are usually the same type but are either hard up for cash or are actually smart with how they spend their money (so they get luxury for a lower price, then brag to their IS or 3 series driving colleagues how their cars are better).

Either way, none of them will ever ever ever mod their car with epic low or gangster fitment.</rant>

Yeah some romanian guys managed to use a client login to upload a rootkit that then overwrote every single file on the webserver folders with a worm. Unfortunately this overwrote pretty much all the code I had done, and since I'm not free to do them any more Craig's doing em again from scratch. He was supposed to launch at Christmas, but it hasn't happened. Not even sure why there was no backup of all the stuff I did.

Its like some of the people I work with who want to buy [insert base model of each range of BMW/merc etc]. I rather be walking then seen in a 320, or 118, Paying that money for the brand, when you can pay a little more and get a decent car out of it /rant

WTF no backups of a biz? How many hrs does it take to put together a site like the old one?

Well I'm back...

I didn't buy any of the cars I just posted.

I bought a 1998 Manual Supra. White. Immaculate inside and out. Like new. Comes with some black wheels and chrome lip.

Picking it up in a week.

WIN.

I made backups onto the PC i used for development, but unfortunately I think that PC was formatted or something. It took me the good part of 3 years to get the backend feeding all the data from auctions, japanese car yards etc properly, and the same amount of time for Craig to develop the backend, admin system etc. all of which was lost.

he's done a fairly good job of restoring it and polishing it up, its got all sorts of fancy 2.0 stuff now from the preview I saw.

nothing a hammer and an angle grinder cant fix

edit: also tackled my boats ignition problems, no power coming out of the power solenoid, so replaced that. then had some power running to the starter but the started wont budge. so pretty much had to take off all the carby covers to get the f**ker off.

would be nice to go for a fish on sunday :|

    • I used to have Walbro 255's when they were a pretty common update. (or were they 044? 040?) In any case I had a dirty tank. I thought the tank was good, but I would find the filter would clog in maybe ~50km of driving. If the issue persists, well, your fuel system or tank has crap in it that the pump is sucking up.
    • Hi. Ok thanks for the info. I/we do not know what tune is on that Nistune ECU so it is why there is stock ECU and that Nistune is for later when the car is done. I have guy who tunes Nistune and other ECU so i will then take it to him to see and properly tune for the car   And for the update. On 99,9% it is bad fuel pump. Which is wierd cuz it is like 2 years old(brand new walbro 255) and that filter (also brand new) was dirty.  I was alwaya pumped premium(100) on very good petrol station so i dont know how is that possible...
    • Dear folks My family members have 4 different cars : Triton 2015 and Corolla 2011 and Mazda3 2012 and Hyundai Elantra 2014 Looking to buy engine oil funnel spill free What I found are are below  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBTTJNKX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145553221359?srsltid=AfmBOoqYBU6Ptw0LU_bAp_k67U3qkF97HHvePkA7iHZw8vUmiwoIRaRr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09X23TCS5?th=1 Is there a funnel with attachment that fits most cars ? Don't mind to spend for a decent quality  Thx
    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
