Interior in good condition. Seats have been reupholstered. Car has been professionally resprayed a few years ago.

Electric windows and central locking.

~150,000km. Auto. Near new tyres.

Panels: Damage drivers-side guard and pillar and roof. Rust in passenger-side guard. Everything else looks excellent.

Owner plans to advertise on Car Sales. Mentioned an asking price around $1500.

To be honest, I couldnt sell my mint Hatchback for $2000 last year....

Ive seen, as well as BOUGHT examples such as this for a MAX of $400.

Its a rusty series 1 poverty pack, lucky to get $200 for it.

HOWEVER....

There are some parts that catch my eye!

Anyone else keen on parts???

Just a note if anyone's thinking of putting this car back on the road in Victoria.

The car is a "repairable write off". To have it re-registered requires a roadworthy cert and a Vehicle Identity Validation (VIV) cert from VicRoads. The VIV costs an amazing $484!

This applies to all those hail-damaged cars as well. To get them registered and back on the road costs around $1200 (roadworthy cert + VIV + rego).

MAG86, you have a PM about parts... I'm interested in the front seats and steering wheel - not sure how you'll drive it to Canberra!

I wont be in melb for another month or two. Cant put any definite times on it just yet. The engine is a prime candidated for a datto though.... EFI

I think I'll give it a miss this time, I got spares comeing out my arse. Plus its too complicated.

woulda still liked the headlight covers and window switches, and air con switch (mine fell to bits)

i want the lower control arms mate pm me or text 0432571994

Where is this significant to an ignition barrel?????

Lower control arms for what?????

R30? Go buy them NEW for about $70 a side from your local parts shop. They are Taiwanese copies but every bit as good as the OEM part & you get new ball joints and inner bush.

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!

    • Good time for a carbon roof
    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
