Carmon Imports are about to have ther R34's on there list it will be there first car to be imported.

Cross over car conversions were going to comply R34's but if you look at there list they have enough cars on there are the moment and I am not to sure if they will have them on at all.

Shogun car company in Brisbane are doing the testing for the R34's and are waiting to get som results back so then they will be able to import them.

Give it a month or 2 and they will be flocking in. Ohh and dont expect to pay over $34,000 for a very nice R34.

EJ. What Duncan is trying to say is that because the rules for importing recently changed that meant the r34's couldnt be imported until the import companies had obtained their licenses. Which no-one has done yet. Or something like that.

The reason Police used WRX's was that it was a locally sold car like the Fords and Holdens. They are not going to import cars for their use because that would be a waste of taxpayers money.

you cant import them in the u.s for a few reasons,

1) wrong hand drive...

2)as the same as tt supra manuals they do not comply with eps standards(i think that only means the GTRs thou) could be wrong.

3) there is only 1 big place that does a swap with a left hand drive.

but not because they are 2 quick. think about 5.0s and R33 gtrs, they are almost as quick. tt supras,10sec civics(i know that is not standard) but alot of cars are quicker than a R34...
