Featured Photos at the top of the main page?

yerh and it causes horizontal scrolling

horrible.. put just three thumbnails on it not however many it has now

I like teh gallery forums, a lot of ppl dont have webspace and over time we can build up some great event photots etc

The featured photos are a thumbs down for poor dial up (l)users like me

its not to bad if you could open and close it like the other menus it would be good..and minus off 1 of the pictures because its wider than the forum menu and i have to run a bigger resolution to IE dosent look stuffed.

Oh I think the gallery is GREAT for the exact reasons you stated... and it's awesome to have such a collection of photos to browse through instead of searching google all the time

.............. but I don't think they need to be listed as part of the forums at all... It makes the page load slower, has nothing to do with the forums, created horizontal scrolling for some users and just adds too much to something that should be simple and mostly graphics free
