lol Ash is posessing Steve-o!

Anyway....

Yes people buy from them every day

Every week or 2 someone starts a thread about them taking too long. expect 4-6 weeks like they say

They are cheap

Expect little to no warranty or support - so make sure you order the right thing, or the price won't look so cheap.

If you want the right thing, today, support a local business

I've used rhdjapan a couple of times....1-2 weeks wait though.....depending on the availability of the product.....just harass them if you don't see it being shipped within 3 day's

nengun is shit, slowest delivery ever

i now use rhdjapan, they are soo much better. prices are usually the same as nengun or cheaper and delivery is much faster.

You shouldnt have any dramas with them as the parts you listed are usually alsways in stock

i work as a spare parts interp and definatly would recoment RHDjapan knowing this is where parts come fastest from. Nengun is good but what ever you order you will not see it for a month + !!!!

ditto on that, i ordered cams, cam gears, valve springs, timing belt (for evo) and i waited 2 months. I was getting worried as I took a big risk with the amount of money i spent overseas. Greenline are good, RHD japan is good too. The only two I usally deal with now

I just buy locally now and generally locally made products where I can.

I works out cheaper half the time and if anything goes wrong I dont have to try and get in touch with people in japan and pay freight to and from japan to have it repaired.

EG my Greddy E-01 Boost controller needs to go back to be repaired, but I doubt i will worry about it and just buy an E-boost street

Well, my only experience with Nengun didn't end well.

I had ordered a Trust oil cooler/relocation kit and after two months, his excuse was Trust has gone bust and is no longer in operation and proceeded to refund the money in yen without even asking for my opinions on the matter. During this time, the currency rate had changed by 12% so it was pretty much like playing with stocks, only I had neither parts or money with me and making a lost of 180 dollars.

So yes, that guy at Nengun can be seriously shady.

i like to support local business to but sometime money dosent allow me to or i cant justify spending $400 more to buy local for injectors for example

thats all cool, and I often buy stuff I can wait for os as well when I'm in no rush. Just understand that if you order the wrong injectors you will be paying twice! And any mistake will take ages to sort out if yuo have to send stuff back.

Don't see what they have done wrong there? You paid in yen, you got refunded in yen. Would you be calling them shady if they exchange rate went up in between? Or are you saying it was Nengun's fault that Trust went broke ;)

Yeah i am thinking about just buying my injectors s/h in aus and i will service them myself as far as everything else is concerned now i think i will just keep a eye on the forums because i cant start the work for 2 months since for work commitments thanks for the info now

    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
