300kmh Dash Or Speedo For An Auto S2 Stag

As per the topic, I wondering if you can get a 300kmh dash to suit a series2 auto Stag?

Or could you get just a 300kmh speedo to suit?

I've seen pics in an rs260 but that's a manual.

You can get dolphin one for about $600-800

Or you can get your speedo head recalibrated by an instrument tech for about $150 and get new face made for about the same

I tried a long while ago to get a few people togather to do this, but there is not too much of a need for a stagea to do 180+

I think it is also possible to solder some jumper wires to the rear of the cluster to recalibrate.

Has been done before on R33's etc.

I was thinking if the Stag was built up to be 12-13 second strip car (if the internals/drive line is capable) and also used on the track you'd be seeing speeds over 180kmh.

The Dolphine come in two flavours. A white face plate for the manual trans, and black for the auto. You can see in the pic above, he has gone for the black look and covered the auto lights with a carbon cover.

My car has done over 200 on the front straight at Hampton Downs and when the RB30 is installed should be good for 220 -240. I have a Jaycar speedo corrector Mk2 (KC5435) unit which should work to 300km/hr. Haven't had time yet to look for a face plate or get one made. If you want a Jaycar unit get in quick i think they are discontinued. If anyone locates a face plate, manual or auto that reads to 300 or 320 please let me know!
