Twoogle deserves a good sent off. Paul will be back at it shortly once the diff's fixed.. poor bloke worked so hard to get twoogle up and running after the first run.

Was nice to meet Charlie, Luke & Nathan today. They were working on twoogle all day. :P

It was a shame to not be able to see it run yesterday after all the hard work Paul put in to get it running again after the first pass drama. I'm sure if the diff problem was found earlier then that would have been another thing Paul and the guys would have fixed in the true never say die spirit of TWOOGLE :P

The perserverence, patience and effort will pay off soon :D

Good too see you again Johno

From What i have heard on the grape vine it is not power that is the problem but aparently it has found a whack more torque. Should run a no once sorted :P .

A combination of that and I think it was a very well prepped track yesterday (very sticky). A lot of cars were doing wheel stands and having troubles breaking traction to warm up the tires.

Was nice to meet you yesterday Charlie :D

Was in Sydney last weekend seeing Croyden about a 30/26 engine build and witnessed this car being run on the dyno. I must say this car is absolutely mental!! Paul then took the car out the front to the "private test track" for some 10,000rpm launches. Was the highlight of a very busy weekend and was unfortunate it didn't get down the track on Sunday.

Best of luck with it guys.

    • I got a quote to restore a set of Volk racing gtc wheels at a wheel restoration shop which involved repainting the centres fixing some small gutter rash and repolishing them and the quote was $2.5k I ended up getting them sandblasted and powdercoated for $240

    • Has anybody had their wheels refurbished? I reckon it's likely bloody expensive. Even a sand blasting quote for my 17s was 200-300 per wheel! The E39 wheels are basic BMW M Sport (or M Tech at the time.) they have slight rash and some have signs of bad repair in the past on the lips. The main issue is that they've become really off coloured.  I think it will be too much as this is definitely (supposed to be) a budget resto. I've been looking at others for sale but they all have some minor damage and colour issues.  In the end I think I'll just need to sand blast them myself and do a respray.
    • Trying to figure out which nismo cluster i have. All the ones i see on the internet, the speedo goes up to 320kph and the revs 11k, with the nismo logo being on the rev gauge only.
