i guess that means no more bludging and less skyline time lol :(

You dont know how wrong you are!! Some people find getting up at the crack of noon hard but not me! Uni life is good life.

One piece of advice that I've found thru experience is workout if the course is right for you early. Many of my friends went into courses because they wanted to have a particular title, they knew there was money at the end of it, or the course name sounded good. Eg a mates sister wanted to do Aviation coz "It sounds fun". Her problem was she hated physics and maths. She then wondered why she couldnt find the motivation to do the work and hence kept failing. Another friend started 2 uni degrees, a tafe course and dropped out of all 3. He is now doing Mech Eng and averaging 92% and aiming for 1st Class honours. Something to think about.

Anyways, Have Fun!

yeah i go to uni, just finished first year

i love it, so much fun to be had every single day!

i live on campus so its a lot more fun and means waking up 5 minutes b4 class and arriving ontime!

my tip, u can miss lectures every so often but yeah try not to miss any tutes! they are the things dat matter!!!

and yeah i did no work until the week b4 exams, only failed 2 subjects out of 8 all year

2 much :P i think

Compared to year 12 uni is sooo easy. Just be smart and do a little work and you'll pass everything. I hardly do any uni work, work at a bar 3 times a week and do an Arts/Mech eng double degree and havent failed anything yet in 3 years, not even come close.

And you can have mini SAU meets at uni, thats what we've done at monash. :D

il cya at melbourn dude, i just fell a year beghind... HA im drunk HA, cya there, ima gunnat take u to the pub and show u a girl i know by the name of quincy, and she swallows..................................

lol sounds good mate  what course u doing?

Uni was fun.

Some work... but not much. Not compared to the real world anyway...

Enjoy it while you can

Engineering - E'Week Beer-lympics were a highlight.

You'll drink a lot.

Well your uni life is 10 times easier by not going to F*CKING RMIT IN THE CITY!!! THE SHITTEST UNI TO EVER GRACE THE FAIR LAND OF MELBOURNE!! ahhh..... So yeah. ...

I'm doing Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Systems) - Sounds swanky, it's shit. Basically i'm just using this post as an outlet for my uni frustration so i better bring it back on topic. As GTR-R34 said, grab yourself some friends if u don't already know anyone in the course. I was lucky/unlucky in a way in that i started my course with 2 guys from school who i'd been friends with for yonks. But doing a computer type course, trying to socialise with ppl is hard. Can't seem to find the time to leave their computers!!! :) Anyways, Melbourne def has more of a "campus" feel than RMIT institute for the retards. So i think socially you shouldn't have anything to worry about at Melb. And like the other said, don't worry about the work. Nothing compared to yr 12.

Oh.. also, this is uni so if one of your tutors/lecturers/whatever is shit, tell them they are shit. You're not going to get a detention. Half my people couldn't a) speak english B) teach c) both. It's very satisfying to tell teacher-type people exactly what you think about their inability to teach :D

So far for me, uni hasn't been anything special, and really, no great difference from school. And i guess i'm one of the few who won't look back on it as the "greatest time of their life"

cheers.

EDIT: I'm waiting for Smallville to d/l so i thought i'd make that post hella long. Oh.. and Kristin Kruek is HOT!! ;)

I think Uni goer's are bums and have no right to bitch.

Adz- " Look at the hollidays and time you get all this time off and the social life"

Uni goer - "Yeah but we get assignments and i spend all my time on them and blah stress blah exams blah blah"

Adz- "Bull Sh*t, You have no set wake up time on your LONG time off, you DONT have to drive to work every morning in peak hour traffic and you dont have to deal with customers every day so quit your f*cking bitching!" :D:)

Hehehe my 2c

PS - Oh yeah RMIT is the biggest hell hole waste of space in the UNIVERSE!!!!!

I think Uni goer's are bums and have no right to bitch.

Hey, being a uni student myself i think i have to rebut your argument there adz.

Most uni students work as well, im working 1 full time job at the moment over summer plus my usual 15 hour a week casual job. Ive only had 2 weeks holiday, if u can count working 15 hours a week a holiday.

Also, having a fulltime job is pretty cruisy if u have one of those jobs where you just drop everything at 5pm and go home. Your weekend is yours, after work you never have homework, its pretty easy.

But i do agree that dealing with customers is worse than uni. Exspecially working at a resturant and having to explain to a pregnant lady why there is a little sharp piece of plastic in her caesar salad.

I think Uni goer's are bums and have no right to bitch.

i rekon its so much easier walking into a job each day knowing what needs to be done just doing it then going home and FORGETTING about it all... like who cares if u had a **** customer for the day, big deal, what about if u got a **** assignment

BUT i rekon everything is as bad as each other, unis got its ups n downs, so does working, lifes a bitch, dig it!

Yeah ok goog point but then again I guess it all depends on what type of work you do hey. Oh and assignments dont bit your head off and hassel you on mobile on the weekends do they. Some people dont have the lessuire of "forgetting" about work when they go home because all that work you forgot about its there when u head back. But meh, Work can be good and bad, same as uni. I say they both suck, lets just party! :(

Waah Waah - uni is hard. Boo hoo - I have homework.

We all had to work summer jobs and then part-time semester jobs when at uni - you're not the first. Uni is a blast. You'll meet great people, drink heaps of beer, sleep with some great chicks - enjoy it!

Make the most of it now - the real world is not the 'leave at 5, never on weekends' utopia some make it out to be. Hell - I'm at work right now :(

And despite popular theory - I don't spend ALL my time whoring forums :)

    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
