Hey folks,

I'm going to do a project on my R32 GTR and would like to take a look at some pride and joys out there to explain a few things and get some suggestions.

Also, if anyone can recommend a spray/panel beater that would be awesome too!

Can't wait to get my car ready for the R32 GTR 21st anniversary since I'm the only one of the organising crew to actually have one!

lol at the small pipe. It's so uncommon to see, it kind of looks comical.

Hope these help. No rice, keep it stock looking but for wheels and stance. Not tooo aggressive on the oeffsets though (waits to be flamed)

I'll have mine back tomorrow from the painters with a full genuine n1 kit on it... Well everything apart from the bonnet lip is genuine. I'll throw some pics up asap.

Happy to help with recommending a body shop and/or paint prep if there is beers involved

Thanks guys for the feedback so far, R32 REPRESENT!!

Tbag you got PM.

LotusGTR, I wish I was still back in Melbourne because that's where the recommended panel/spray painters are (in Springvale I believe you know), the guy doing the leather car seats and Racepace! Will send you a PM.

Nuclear_skyline, I'd love to take a look at your car, you've got PM.

Look of a car really depends on colour and what your taste's are. Try to have something not many people have i remember when i frist got XD9s the changed the whole look of my car and next to no one had them. Now if i had a Car would be looking at some Advan Rs-D cos of there price be less liky to find someone else with them. I had 18*10+18 makes for a very fat look.

Yup, I have this photo as my wallpaper :-)

Most definitely mine will be unique but not wild. I want to ride a couple of modified R32s to get a feel of what certain configuration feels like.

heres mine i like them plain and simple i will be going alittle lower and tinting the windows and other things to tidy it up but i love the way it looks

If you want a good looking R32 don't go for horrible huge chrome mags and bling styling - aim for a look that says "I'm just heading home from a day of smashing lap times at the track". :)

Im a fan of NISMO's fairly stock and original N1 VspecII 32 GTR - he has to wipe my drool off it everytime I see it in person!

thanks chubbs :)

personally, this is what i would love mine to look like if i didn't want to keep it stock. Its another N1, and to me perfect. I think a GTR needs nothing but wheels and the right suspension stance. Thats it.

Super Tough yet stll subtle

Nothing subtle about the boot mounted radiator :D

I agree with keeping the R32 GTR externally stock with some suspension and wheels :)

Perhaps the NISMO sideskits/pods and front and rear lip spoilers for that extra subtle touch (as in the Saurus car and the white V-Spec above.

Otherwise, its the Veilside EVO III widebody kit with standard bars made to fit. :)

i am keeping my lip black i will get the carbon fiber lip one day i like it black and the nose cone thiny on the bonnet it breaks up the white alittle bit

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.
    • Is the panel filter one that is oiled? Have you ever cleaned or touched the AFM?
    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
