What do I get out of it? Thats easy.. pulling up next to you at the lights in the hairdressers car and kicking your GTST's ass from 0-180km/hr. And around the corners, too.

Its a known fact that the 180sx/sr20det sil is faster down the quarter mile, and with the modifications that my car has I enjoy beating guys who buy skylines just because they want gtr respect and looks for next to no cost.

Talk down silvias all you like: the fact is I have driven many many gtst-t's and many silvias, and my personal preference is that my car is more enjoyable to drive fast. Its smaller, lighter and feels like more of a go kart, and feels faster.

How many Silvia K's or 180sx's have you driven? let me guess, none?

I have no respect for skyline drivers who think they are top shit because of their car unless they have a GTR badge, sorry mate.

What a hero you are :)

Backup how did u loose your license in such a short period? If u get a car that attracts alot of attention u r gonna get hasseled by the cops and they will try pin something on you.

I agree with Pentae :P

Dale, you say you don't like FWD but i almost guarantee you've never driven a proper RWD car! Going from your current 3 series into a turbo Silvia i am sure it wouldn't be a week before you lost the backend into a pole! Your parents seem to be countering the cars you reject, with better cars. If you can stretch them a little further, go for the Golf GTi which has a ton of tuning mods available. Have a look at some U.S sites, some are running over 400HP +.

I got my 200sx when i was 19. I could have got one when i was 17, but i'm glad i didn't. Probably wouldn't be able to post this if i did!

nah wen i get my car im goin skid pan so i can learn how the car reacts so hopefully i wont end up in a pole anyways i dont drive crazy anymore i just like to keep it calm and cruisin

Reds14: i dont want to get a FWD car its just like that so im not gona bother checkin up the golf gti and anyways if i did get a golf id want the 2 door coz they look beta and i dont think they have 2 door gtis

thanks 4 da help pplz

1 day at a skidpan wont help you...it only takes a split second of stupidity and your ****ed

My Dads mate who owns a M3 (raced it in targa tas) dragged a R33 GTR down near richmond station about 2 months ago, he took DSC of his M3 and when they both went around the corner, the m3 lost traction and took the GTR out with it

Gtr = ride off

M3 = $40,000 worth of body damage

Thats a highly experienced driver with Countless hours of racing experience :whip:

u have less than 1 years experience.

Would you trust a doctor that has a few months experience operate on you?? NO, get experience and then get a fast car

u have less than 1 years experience.

And then there's those who are still fools no matter how much life experience they've got. Ie: you.

i dunno, i lost about 6 points in my first couple of years of driving.. and plenty of times i went double the limit.. just to test myself and to see whether i could or was pissed off and in a **** the world sorta way like u get when you're a teenager.. I think most p-platers have at some point or other, and many would have here, they just didn't get caught like he did.

Knowing that, and myself not having a fast car at a young age, i don't think is a good idea because, again, you want to test your limits, and those limits are much higher when you have a fast car, even if its a S13 (which are pretty quick actually)

1) I got my line just after i turned 20.... They are expensive to run, full stop.

2) Please dont get one because you obviously are a moron. (loosing 7 points in 2 months) and that was in a low performance car!

3) Please dont make my insurance go up.

4) Non turbo r33 or something similar like the s13 mentioned would be a good start.

5) Pay for your car yourself. If you dont pay for it at all why get it?

So u changed your user name from [RYAN] to this. Stick to driving your pram.

Buhahaha Tooser.

Think up your own jokes fool, stop ripping off other peoples.

Pentae: Don't talk about what you don't know :(

I see you're still the same INASNT. I Wonder when oh when you'll develop some common sense?

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
