ive got the motor out now when i take the oil pan off

what should i be looking for?

any info would help cheers.

is there anyone that can help? or should this be moved to where

it would get more attention?

so i have taken the sump off and havnt noticed anything.

motor still cranks over and there are no flakes of metal anywhere

to be found. i have another motor to put in so should just sell this as is or

pull it apart and find this mystery problem?

ok here are some picks does this help?

also was looking at my valves on the exh side

when i took the manifold off i could see up there.

there was white carbon dust on them but

my other motor only has black carbon?

any feedback would help.

You'll need to pull the big end/main caps off to see what the condition of the bearings is. If you do that and post up photos of the bearings then lots of people on here would have experience in engine rebuilds and will tell you whats been happening

As already said but, major damage will be pretty obvious.
