Hi All,

I was looking at my car today and noticed that the subframe bushings are cactus :) so obviously they need to be replaced quick smart. Only question is where can i get some Polyurethane bushes for my r32 gtr in Vic they seem to be a hard thing to locate on google. Also is it a do at home job or is it something I should let a suspension shop deal with. Also what are prices am I looking at for a) the bushes and b) an install by a pro

Thanks in advance

Andrew

PM this guy what you are after.

If you talking about replacing the whole subframe bush, that would involve lowering the subframe to get them out. Talk to Traction Tyres in rowville. http://www.tractiontyres.com.au/

When I did the subframe bushes in my 32 I bought the ones from shocksystems, worked well. Absolute prick of a job to do though, a press would have made things easier but even still it's a punish! I called a couple of places to get quotes on getting it done and they said they weren't interested, most places said we just put pineapples in. Pineapples help but replacing the whole bush is soooooo much better

Yeah Pineapples just seem to be a bandaid fix, I would really like to replace the whole bushing. Also I hear it can be an epic job labour wise, Would it be in my best interests to get like most of the rear bushes on the car done at the same time?

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
