Yeah but wouldnt i have to take it to melbs for the emanage anyway to be tuned ? :) (im in brisbane)

that can come later..and the ecu compared to a nismo is cheap.. emanage ultimate $899. nismo ecu - $1250

i want plug and play i mean plug and drive! for the time being

S/H Emanage Ultimate with loom cost me $650. Cihan gets up there occasionally, you could get a group buy on install and tunes. :)

You have to understand, the Nismo is not a specific tune for your car. It may handle exhaust, perhaps cooler but any highflow or intake mods and the tune will drift far from satisfactory.

Where are people getting these HDI kits from for M35's who can source them ? ive seen the blitz ones online.

and RS4T .. the fcon - wouldnt that be suited for a c34 not an m35? its either impul, nismo or a tune for an emanage i believe.

HDI are in Sydney and you can contact then off this forum. Do a search for HDI.

Price I believe is around $900 with the slimmer fan included.

If you can find them let me know and I will find a ph number for you.

Cheers

Andy

Nup, if you have a good tuner for it the FCON is the preferred piggyback for M35 considering it has a plug and play harness for VQ25det.

Problem is finding a tuner that ISN'T in Sydney :)

For HDi's contact details, see the other thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=5445568

Ive done some research on here regarding tuning the fcons, and Im just a skeptic really - its a fair punt for something that mightnt work at all. Admittedly most of the posts regarding the Fcons are from 2007 or so, but they all seem to indicate that people have tried to buy the software/keys for the software and it hasnt worked.

Just to clarify on your last statement mate, do you have an FCon in your 32, and have the software installed on your laptop to tune it yourself?

Correct. i've had it for years now. no key or anything required..

my only problem is its japanese. but you can still tune and do most things easily.. can also use all the data log features and read them easily. i had a friend touch up my map a little also with a japanese reading friend to help assist.

when i get the car back together, i will spend the 300 or whatever and buy what i have posted in the link above to get the english versions.

What about these guys - www.g-zone-r.com

I noticed one of their chipped VQ25DET ECU's on Yahoo auctions. It seems they tune all the M35 ecu's out there!

I wonder if they could pass on some technology to SAS or someone so we can have ours chipped here. Im sure they could do a simple chip with boost and speed limit cut...

All remap services are a re-flash... not so much a chip from what I have gathered... oh, and it is hard enough to get them to respond to a remap request with the requirements laid out in an email, let alone getting in a conversation with them about selling one of their readers.

they are a remap service, require your ecu (and maybe car also) for this service. service is located in japan

G-Zone don't require your car, nor do Mine's, Impul, Ks etc.... only Nismo do (Damnit!)

hmm sounds like my best option is either seeing if a local can tune it or taking it to sydney for a fcon-v tune or melbs for an emanage.

hmm im hoping someone in qld has tuned these to some degree.. i dont care what ecu. if the fcon-v can piggy back and be tuned correctly so be it. as long as it can be done and im no test pilot ending up with a failed combo.

Call GTAuto in Brisbane, iirc they can tune Fcons.

found the harness connector at this link and its part number for the fcon-v

Nah, it is looking like the F-con will have a tuner in Melb soon.... possibly :)

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
