I'm chasing some internal drive wheel nuts that will fit Volk GT-c wheels.

My searches on the interwebs and ebay are not proving to be very fruitful.

I even stopped into bob jane this afternoon - They had them but were just the plain old silver/chrome, non lightweight and wanted $75 for 20.

I thought for that price I might be able to get something nicer anodized ones or something.

Anyone know where i can pick these up?

BTW... I'm not really interested in paying $280 odd dollars for genuine rays or anything.

Cheers

Just be cautious of them.

If you over tighten them you will strip the nut. They area soft alloy.

Also if you take your wheels off regularly re think buying these.

As the alloy is soft and everytime you tighten them up your stretching the thread in the nut.

( I used to work for a wheel and tyre store. Have seen what happens to these nuts on a regular basis.)

^^^ Good advice.

Torque wrench is a good tool to have.

soft metal FTL. I wouldn't want to get a nut crossthreaded or stripped. they are holding your wheels on, you know

i bought supercheap locknuts and the material is so soft that I almost rounded the tool the first time I used it. very poor quality it doesn't engage far and the metal is soft. i always cringed when i used them after that. got proper ones now.

i reckon one bash with a chisel/hammer and they would have split in two.

if you over tighten I would be more worried about actually just splitting the whole nut, been there done that... then you need to drill out the stud to get it off...

Ive had no troubles at all since I got a decent torque wrench to use on them...

I got these kind of wheel nuts too. I was looking for lock nuts and a key. At first I asked Wheel Revolution they said $120, so then I tried On The Run Motorsports in Vic. I ordered the set from them and got it for $80.

I suggest trying On The Run Motorsports, it may take a while 1 month or 2.

FYI you can also use a regular 17mm nut or most generic lock nuts on these types of wheels.

You will need to use a single hex deep socket to use that type of nut, such would also be available in an alloy nut.

Also, dont forget alloy nuts have a limited life span.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
