Carbon Fibre S2 Front Foglight/indicator Surrounds Group Buy!

Hey guys

This originally started out as an idea in this thread ( http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Eo...S2-t333980.html ) but it is now going ahead so I figured I would make a new thread

This will be a group buy for direct carbon fibre replacements of the factory foglight/indicator surrounds as pictured here:

And should roughly look something like this once fitted:

These are being supplied by PSI Parts and we will need a minimum number of 10 people to start production.

Cost will be $119 a pair plus $11 Express post shipping Australia wide.

I will keep this group buy open until ten people are gathered.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Nah, if you have a quick read through that original EOI thread I put up you will see how it all came together. To my knowledge these have not being available in carbon fibre anywhere before.

Phil do you just clip the old ones off an put the new ones on?

Can we see the carbon fibre weave that'll be used?

There is 6 screws that hold the covers on. Not sure if you can just unscrew them to get the cover off and leave the whole housing still on the bumper. Last time I did it I just removed the whole housing and then once it was off the car unscrewed the covers. It wasn't hard.

I would assume the weave would be 2x2 twill weave as I think that is what all of their products use. I'll see what Shane says. I'm sure the quality will be great as the carbon cooling panel they are sending out next week looks perfect from the photos.

the lights look ugly as with no covers

As soon as 10 people are gathered PSI parts will start manufacturing them as that is the minimum required. So there kind of isn't a date as such....is that cool?

If not I can put a date up, but we only need two people anyway so it would be a safe bet it would be filled this week.

Ok, if we can't get one more buyer by the end of this week I will just buy two sets so we can get the ball rolling. I'm sure by the time they are made and ready to send there will be another person keen so I will just sell my set to them

Any word on the time they'll take to produce once the 10 are confirmed? Also, with regard to legality I know cops are hardly going to do you for these, but am I right in thinking they could?

Nothing illegal about it, definetely don't have to worry about that

I'll ask Shane regarding the production times, I would assume it will be a while (hence me not using my original set due to the formal drop off).
