When I first met Kristyn start of the year with little Izakk, I straight away knew this would be a very beautiful wedding. As soon as she mentioned Berry for her wedding day my eyes lit up. Rolling Green hills, winery, stunning backdrops, vintage feel, where just some of the thoughts that quickly went through my mind.

I could just picture a bollywood scene on the green hills with Kristyn and Adam running towards each other in slow motion hahah.

I will start off with some pics from the pre-wedding shoot and then the wedding day. Im still yet to finish off the reception shots, but will post those soon.

Strobist Info:

- Studio shoot consisted of two alien bee strobes 9well used one most of the time)

- Out door beach shoot consisted of just one 580exii on camera

- Wedding location shoot consisted of just one alien bee strobe

For now just some sample pics.

Sample Wedding pics:

A week before the wedding, I drove down to berry to take a look at the winery Kristyn and Adam had chosen for their wedding day. Call me eager but I just had to see the location well before the wedding day. It was so beautiful with stunning backdrops and I spent a bit of time finding the right spots to do the location shoot. All I could think about that week was about this wedding day. I was super excited and had everything planned from the type of shots I want to achieve to where it was going to be done.

Now lets fast forward a week!! While driving down to berry my heart skipped a fair few beats. The weather wasn't looking the best, and the winery hadn't grown at all (I knew it wouldn't grow that quickly) but I had a little bit of faith. On top of that, the winery owner had sprayed pesticide, so we couldn't use the location spot I had chosen a week before. But somehow the gods had listen to my little prayer and the clouds started to disappear. The sun started shining and it put a smile on everyone's faces. I found another spot to do the location shoot and all went according to plan.

Sweet shots Matt! Turns out what you said is true aye! You didn't duck off to a brothel :P

That lambo shot is pr0n. That corner is amazing at sunset, around 4-5. My last superlap shots were from there and every one of them has perfect light for panning and on the cars!

i.e., what bnr#@ is saying, Matt, is that your EXIF data doesn't show up, ya dirty punk! How are we supposed to figure out your secrets? :P Oh, I will also say that those shots are awesome.

Sidd, that second last shot, when I first saw it I thought to myself: "Damn, that dude's just married a hottie and he's gone and fallen asleep on her. What a clown!"

Figured I might as well add my photos from the Motor Show while I'm still online. BTW, using LR3 and uploading directly to my Photobucket (and Facebook, when I add that plug-in too) from that is nice!

Shame I cut the roof off slightly on this one:

Sweet shots everyone!!!!!! Nick, some awesome shots there!

I am going to guess that first shot of the Ferrari is around 1/100th - 1/125th judging by the wheel blur. Otherwise the car wasn't moving that fast?

Lambo shot i will guess 1/80th because of the grass being so blurred but the car still sharp.

I swear, that corner just yields results! Time and time again.

It has to do with because you are standing on top of a hill shooting down, the car remains in the same focal plane and therefore will most likely be sharp front to back.

This is from the same corner at superlap. Lets do a sydney meetup at that corner at a track day! :)

Very nice photos of the girls, but god damn tattoos are ugly on girls. My partner has a small tat on her upper back, and every time i look at it i want to get a knife and cut it out of her back.

    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching

    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
