raZ1911
Hey guys, At the moment i have a RB25DET with a front facing plenum, front mount, exhaust etc. I will be adding come injectors, manifold and a TD06H 20g 10cm external gate. I have the opportunity of getting a Link G3 for $500 and im just wondering if i should get it or not as from what i can see it seems like it would handle my setup quite easily but im not sure? thanks, Andrew. That's a good price if you are buying it from someone and you know its working well. Otherwise its like any second hand piece of technology - great if it works waste of money if it doesn't. Moodles2
The tune itself is always more important than the ECU, if you have a tuner in mind that is comfortable with that particular ECU than by alls means go ahead. raZ1911
For that price it's brand new. What would the link g3 be like compared to a nisstune which would be the other option? Another question I have is does the link g3 have configurable auxiliary inputs? KiwiRS4T
Link has more capacity and abilities than Nistune. Nistune is normally better value for money (although will not work with R33 ecu and you will have some adapting to do) but if you can get a Link for $500 that will be a better buy. Any Vipec dealer should be able to tune a Link. Here is a link to the factory ...you can get info from their tech dept: http://www.linkecu.com/ Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/338874-link-g3/#findComment-5475961 Share on other sites
