Fair dinkum, if I wanted to hear this sort of stuff, I'd buy a ford/holden...

This was one of the best forums because there was next to no slanging, and what there was , was good natured. I always saw it as what sets us apart from the sedans & coupes was our common ground?

There seems to be an old guard that don't take kindly to other ppl piping up in what the feel is "their" forum. And a few young bucks not showing enough "respect"

Just cos you have a lot of runs on the board, doesn't make you an infallible oracle, but by the same token, newer members have plenty to add (scotty springs to mind)

Just because you weren't on the forum doesn't mean you didn't have a life before it.

The nature of the net is people can be overly familiar, and I think that's becoming a problem here.

A fair bit of what gets said here probably wouldn't get said face to face, and if it did, most of it wouldn't end in the kind of violence ppl are threatening.

*awaits negative reputation attack*

Faark, hardly! I've been one to have a dig, but I'll normally let it go.

Bit sad to see it getting out of hand, I bet with a beer in hand most of us would be pretty good friends...

Bah, give it up EVERYONE, please! This is the Internet, so unless we're actually trying to provide factual information in the brake or suspension thread or whatever, then any comments really should be taken with a grain of salt and a laugh...

Seriously, if this crap continues, it's not the new reputation system you'll need to worry about, it'll be the warnings and eventual bannings.

I very rarely had to moderate this thread before, but lately it's just become a sh!tfight, and it's not just one or two of you.

Mate can this be deleted and a new chat thread designed. with abit of rules instead of saying "what have you done to your stagea lately"

This one is fine, it was the chat thread before all the in-fighting and got merged with the other thread.

I just seriously hope people can lighten up and calm down. It's not been a great start to 2011. :(

F me... see what happens when you go to work for the day and don't check SAU?

Seriously, Nicks right on.

We're all on here for different reasons, getting info on mods, upgrades, specs, or having a chat to friends with similar interests.

I don't believe anyone logs on to go and call someone else something, insult someone, or get insulted- and if you actually do, this really isn't the place. Go somewhere else please and leave the rest of us (i don't care if your in a M35 or C34 or a friggin golf cart.)

Nissan love time

and other essential recreational drugs of interest. just a few quick snaps from our chalet near the walpole national park inlet. we went as far as peaceful bay, walpole, denmark, margaret river, yallingup and geograph bay in 5 days. was awesome. stag did well on the twisties.

btw ppl, south western highway near pingerup is in shite condition, needs resealing. we bypassed Busso bcos of heaps of piggaz for Southbound festival.

anyways, off to freo this arvo to chill out to xavier rudd, should be mellow as fark. which my head is sayn is a good thing. lol

Looks nice,

I did a few days in the yarra valley for the GF's birthday/NYE, photos on FB for those on mine... I may have been somewhat pissed in most(all?) of them...

can't wait until school holidays are over and all the kids in this thread go back to school. I normally have to go to nissansilvia to find juvenile crap like this.

Beat me to it, yet they are old enough to drive?

This is why I don't actually enjoy frequenting the Stagea area anymore. The Perth boys are cool but the majority of the rest are idiots, you Perth boys should just come hang out in the WA section. We'll share ideas, along with tea and scones and f**k the rest of these knowitall cnts.

Yeah, I don't bother with any forums anymore :(

Nick, what has happened here? Dale, Cy, Sean, Brendo and myself are GONE, these M35 owners move in, and look what happens to the place!?!?! Send them back to NS!

The rep system wont last with the (lack) of maturity displayed here. Much like NS.

Ryan updates: No Sleep Til was awesome- Drop Kick Murphys!

Missed out on Cog(had tix) due to being unwell.

Have BDO/Soundwave/Laneway/Amanda Palmer coming up.

Would like to go to Eddie Vedder!!!

For those who havent, check out tame impala(yes its mainstream indie shit), good sound in some of their songs!

Now I have had time off will be getting into my MCITP shit, as was too flat out end of last year, and on holidays I didnt even touch my comp!

Got a strat Seymour Duncan JB Jr to make fit in my Melody Maker, once this is done prob put a Lil '59 in the neck(mod), and get a tunomatic bridge with bigsby... because modding is fun.

Picked up an Orange Tiny Terror head end of last year and an orange 1x12 closed back cab(Vintage 30 inside) for those who love their valve amps :P

Have been cooking heaps of random shit, having a giant kitchen is awesome, need a bigger oven! The flourless chocolate/hazelnut cake I did for the GF's birthday took over a week for 4 people to get through :P

Now I want an update from all the other older members!

Peace.

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. Rb25det s1 walbro255 fuel pump nismo fpr holset hx35 turbo fmic 3" exhaust freddy intake manifold q45tb q45 maf   Re: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Fri Apr 12, 2013 5:07 am No, I didn't. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
    • My return flow is custom and puts the return behind the reo, instead of at the bottom. All my core is in the air flow, rather than losing some of it up behind the reo. I realise that the core really acts more as a spiky heatsink than as a constant rate heat exchanger, and that therefore size is important.... but mine fits everything I needed and wanted without having to cut anything, and that's worth something too. And there won't be a hot patch of core up behind the reo after every hit, releasing heat back into the intake air.
    • There is a really fun solution to this problem, buy a Haltech (or ECU of your choice) and put the MAF in the bin.  I'm assuming your going to want more power in future, so you'll need to get the ECU at some stage. I'd put the new MAF money towards the new ECU.
