haha

random time waster!

Yeh i need a 2nd car too pred,

prob buy a $500 old magna outta the trading post or something, mate had one awhile back till he crashed it. We thrashed the living shit outta that thing, never missed a beat. even tho it was front wheel drive, ive done the best drive ive ever done in that car. I drifted for about 100m it was crazy, the handbrake was unbreakable in that car

you could pull it going 80km/h in the dry, fish up the street take it off, look back and laugh your ass off

aahh back in the day

yeah...cheap-ass 2nd cars can be invaluable.. i'm just getting sick of racking up the km on the skyline (I've done like 20,000km in 15 months of owning it), and just driving it to the shops or being stuck in traffic and things is always stressful for me. Always think somebody is gonna run into it... well often they almost do!

My mate has an old 86 magna.. his 2nd car is a R33 GTR :D but the magna always gets good use.. surprised its holding up. He's actually owned in since I've known him (about 7 years!)

.. i was looking at like the mid-late 70's skylines.. they have power steering, aircon, electric windows (i think), 4 wheel discs, IRS, and fuel injection! Try finding *that* in an aussie car until about 10 years later.

****ing gay internet .. its not bloody working right

so ghey!!

hows this, almost had a head on in the skyline this afternoon, i popped second outts this drive way and the back stepped out and pulled me into an oncoming car..

i stepped off and it snapped back..

but hey what a bullshit day

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
