Will 15" Rims Fit Over R33gtst Brakes?

I need to upgrade my brakes on my track car as i have now started fitting a V8.

I'm limited to 15" rims so i was hoping that some one on here could give a definite answer that they will fit over R33 brakes.

If it changes anything the rims will be Simmons 15" x 8"

Can some one measure the distance from the center of the hub to the furthest point on the caliper for both front and rear.

I havn't got any measurements atm, but my 15in r31 TI wheels have about 2mm clearance on the rear with 33 brakes

Don't know if this help but 16s didn't fit over my r34gtt breaks

If your 15 inch wheels dont fit couldnt you fit some boltons to clear the caliper? Ill be able to measure my r33 brakes on my Hr31 coupe monday night if you like?

It's on an 86 I've got -10 front and -25 rear...bolt on spaces are out for now but I may have to consider some...

I believe the rears are larger than the front as the have the internal drum so if the rears fit then the fronts should too... But if you can get measurements that would realy help.

Is the reason the fronts dont fit because of caliper clearance to the face of the rim?

15" wont fit on the front, the caliper is much bigger, 16" is what comes standard on a 33gtst and there isnt exactly alot of clearance there. next time you see an r33gtst with stockies have a look, there is much more clearance for the rears
