nice looking car man, with the oil, its probably just the gauge playing up

when the car is cold and the oil is thicker, it gets up to about 4 or 6 on the oil pressure guage. then it drops back idleing when warm.

watch my walk around video of my burgundy R32 GT-R. also, if you could let me know whether your gtr's oil pressure does the same as mine that would be sweet.

Tidy car mate, nice work.

and the fuel consumption is pretty much on the money, unless you were babying it

clean car congrats on purchase...

re the oil pressure, ive herd its common for the sensor to be wayy off but might be a good idea to change the oil pressure sender. mines never drops below 2.5kg even on a hot summers day

got an engine bay pic? :D

very nice and clean mate !

any mods done to it? aftermarket exhaust, boost controller etc ?

it came with an a4 binder full of receipts of EVERYTHING done to the car for the last 6 or so years...

rebuilt high flowed standard turbos 24000 k's ago. full 3 inch exhaust and 4 inch tip (still got a cat and a muffler so it's quiet but a nice note) 4wd controller and a 4wd 2wd switch. and uhhhhhh. can't think what else :S

yeah; neat car, good onya. re oil; first,I would get the oil pressure checked, if the pump is ok then hunt down and replace the faulty gauge/sensor. take out the guesswork, could save you plenty of $$! prob is the gauge/sensor, but not wise to gamble with oil pressure. regards

    • Unless you're fortunate enough to buy a newer car, getting an older style plate to match your name/car is difficult because they've already been purchased.  Unlike other countries, personalised plates are locked to the country and not region, so there can't be multiple versions of the same plate but with a different area code.  Hope that helps

    • That's why I said it is a meaningless term. Because there is more than one meaning that people can apply to it. When we said "highflow", that is exactly what we mean, and exactly what is done. In a highflow, they take your housing and machine them out to take bigger wheels, have a better internal profile, etc etc, and fit a new core with the different/better/bigger wheels.
