I've searched for a while & looked in the DIY etc. but I can't find a part number/bulb type for the dash bulbs in series 2 C34's... I assume they are at least the same as R34?

Has anyone replaced their bulbs? I have tried LEDs but they go flaky after about 6 months. Planning to just get new bulbs as the original ones are blackening and therefore going dim.

I had it in my mind that they were a T3?

Probably just easiest to pull the air-con control unit out and take it with you to your local spare parts or auto-electrical place. Not sure about s2's, but IIRC from when I took it out to replace my stereo, there are at least two different sized-bulbs in the s1 unit. A few of mine are blown now, so I'll likely be removing it again soonish.

Are the bulbs in the aircon unit the same as the dash?

Yep, Dave, I'm pretty sure they're either the same or similar. IIRC, the only difference will be the sizes of the globes.

I had my dash partly removed about 6 weeks ago, but didn't look at the back of it. It should only take about 20mins to remove.

Cheers yes getting used to having the dash in and out now...

cool Chris... well to replace the dud and a couple of dim ones I reckon 3... if they're not black already let me know what you want for them

When I got my s2 I had all the lights out on the sitcom panel too, but I remember having to get really small 12v bulbs like the size of a piece of rice to fit in.

Just pull it out and check to sizing before u buy new ones

I can give you 2 Genuine Nissan part numbers. I know these ones are for the Climate control and Gauges in the RS4S. I've attached some pics if the helps.

I don't know what ones are in the dash, but I used these in my Climate control and Gauges I'm guessing that they would be the same.

27545-8E100 LAMP ASSY. Looks: This is a long grey housing with a small globe at the end, globe has a blue cover on it.

27545-0N002 LAMP ASSY. Looks: Short housing with a blue cover over the globe.

Both globes were about $11.00 each a year or so ago.

Hope that helps some what.

Pics of them are here for you :)

Yeah those two different globes are for climate control not for the dash.

If i remember correctly the larger one you have two that are the backlight for the screen and 4 of the smaller one for the buttons ;-)

Instead of paying 11ea you can go to repco buy some dash lights for something else with same size grain glove bull the old ones out of the holders and put them into them.

True you can do this, i had only one option, after going to every auto elect, repco, super cheap and autobahn I came back with nothing. But for anyone who doesn't want to stuff around with the globes, genuine is the only way to go.

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
