ive got a set of 555cc bosch yellow sidefeeds, almost brand new (only 4000km's on them) perfect condition for $650

admitadly for $1000 (what they cost me new) that would make them less apealing then getting the std ones highflowed...

I originally had highflowed injectors... had them tested and the spray patterns were terrible!

wasnt going to put the engine at risk just for the sake of cheap injectors!

^^ +1 on that.

when your simply burning a hole through the injectors, the spray would only be good at a higher pressure right(when you duty cycle is higher) correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldnt this give you a sluggish acceleration, or very "rough Idle" as the fuel would literally be 'trickleing' out?

I bought some 610cc Seimens Deka(chasing 300awkw e85) - Dark blue/black. they look stock. they are a four port which means its a good spray even at low rev's, i'll get a nice constant idle, a good acceleration, and a good mid-top end aswell. Now I just gotta get the buggers in.

Just remember people that stock injectors are very old, new ones use new tech and can have much better spray and atomomisation, so not only do you risk making and old design worse, you are missing out on new tech. You don't even save that much money.

yeah maybe your right maybe aftermarket ones migh be the way to go te only thing confusing me is alot of people say they have them and have never had a problem and alot say they are crap. o well when it comes closer to changing the injectors in the next few months ill look at my options alot more closley

Yeah but most people don't know what they are talking about, misfires, poor idle they are all used to. If it makes power then it must work!! Doesn't mean it works well or that it is better than stock!

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!

    • Good time for a carbon roof
    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
