They should juuuust fit, but you'll need to use 15mm or 20mm spacers (from memory)

I have a template for this brake kit that you can print, cut out and put inside your current wheel to see if they will fit... but it is on the home PC. Will post it up tonight.

Here is the direct link to the brake template: Liiiiiiiinnnnk

Yep, that's the one. Thanks!

(no need to turn on the PC tonight then  )

Awesome upgrade Chris, have wanted to do this for just over a year now... just need to get the wheels to fit them first lol

Interested to know though, is there is any brake dust or squealing from the pads?

I ordered them and though 'shit, these better fit' :whistling: Lucky it worked out!

No squeeking, or dust (yet). I put some new pads in my standard brakes a few months back and they constantly made noise. Drove me nuts.

So today I drove into the city and am blown away by the power and feel of them. So i am pretty stoked with the upgrade.

do you there there is more pedal travel due to the small master cylinder?

it might require an upgrade

It makes no difference to the master cylinder - I reckon they feel a lot stiffer under foot, I know my brembos felt so much firmer under foot than the stockies, same with Chris'.

Hey Chris,

completely OT, but how do you find the FK452's on the Stagea ?

I had a set on my last RWD and they were fantastic, have been thinking about getting a set for the Stag.

Looking at the I.D. of your wheels Chris, I'm sure they would fit behind the 350GT 18's I bought from you. Maybe measure when you do the 1000km bolt check and I'll measure the 18's?

The only thing I'd have doubts about is the caliper to wheel claerance, the calipers look very wide!

BTW nice pics in the current AMB mag, best job ever?:worship:

Hello, I checked with a supplier of these brakes on the G35driver.com forums. The 18" V35 coupe wheels require a spacer, while the 18" 350Z wheels are a-ok. Unfortunately for me I just bought some 18" coupe wheels, so for my V35 Sedan I might have to look at the Brembo's since my wife drives the car 90% of the time. Anything has got to be better than the single caliper job they used on these things!

Chris is your stagea a 4wd model ? as im looking every where for a brake upgrade kit for my m35 250trs four

trying to fing a 4wd kit

Any 350z or G35 brake kit will fit.

Only difference might be the fluid lines

Any 350z or G35 brake kit will fit.

i have been reading on the brembo and willwood sites and they all say that the 350 z upgrade kits cannot be used on AWD vehicles only rear whell drive

the 250t rs four stageas are AWD ??

seeing as it has 'FOUR' in the name, im gonna say yes lol

all turbo models in australia are AWD. the newer 3.5L models can come in RWD, however they are still automatic

so im being told from u guys that any 350z brake kit will work ???

yet they are telling me you cant use the brake kits on a AWD car ???

your telling me all turbo stags are AWD which i know

AWD and 4WD are different they use different diffs , just to let u know

Maybe PM, bbenny (he has Z33 Brembo's on his NM35) or spoolin12 (as you can see at the start of this thread, he has the 370z Akebono's on his which are much, much larger than the 350z Brembo's).

I believe that [[Danny]] also put 350z Brembo's on his M35 (ARX)

Remember, the 350z (RWD, man or auto) and the V35 (RWD or AWD, man or auto) have the same brake kit from factory as our M35's (RWD or AWD).

Of course I am referring to the non-Brembo cars, but it is a direct replacement if you want to upgrade.

How does a different diff affect the brakes you put on?

Have you asked them WHY they say you can't do it?

If it is a US supplier, ask them if the brake kit will fit a G35x (AWD Infinity G35)

AWD and 4WD are the same model in an M35. the driveline is the same

the NA models (series 1) have 4 speed autos and different diff ratios to suite the 4 speed.

the ONLY difference in driveline is the models with HICAS have a different rear subframe, ARX and AXIS has a slightly wider wheelbase, probably in the knuckle as the arms appear to be the same length

    • I wasn’t able to replicate the sound anymore. It was a one time sound so maybe it was just coincidence but it was like small pebbles being dropped in a coke can.   should I try cleaning the MAF? It could be it’s functioning but dirty? I don’t know.
    • Update 4: Hi all. The car drives again! Haven't driven for long, only to store it in the garage again, but the test drive was successful. The coolant and oil leaks seem to be fixed for now. Temps on the engine were also very good, while moving I never even saw 80C water during the approx. 30 minute drive. Ate up all the coolant in the reservoir though so will have to fill that even more when I go to the car next time. One thing that pisses me off is that the RPM gauge is still f**ked, I even resoldered the board twice and used copper paste on the silly screws that are used as connections. Next time I take it out I'll take apart the board and fit new components, I'll see if I can get a replacement IC for it.  I have an appointment set for 22nd of September for the engine tune to 370hp. Alignment also still needs to be done. My hope is that I can get all the legal stuff over with by the end of this season. Anyone of you have advice regarding intercoolers? Currently there is an APEXI core fitted, one of those weird hybrid ones, 600x270x76. I don't think it's bad but it's not new and now I still have the chance to change it now to legally include it in the paperwork. Only issue is that the only options that would arrive in time are a HKS Type R intercooler or generic Ebay spec intercoolers comparable to a JustJap one. Ideally I'd order a Plazmaman but it takes over a month to receive which would mean making the car legal has to wait until next season. Would love to hear some input on this. Same story for my injectors, the previous owner was a nunce and put ID 1050x on the engine. They work but are obviously not ideal at "normal" power levels. But I don't see a reason to change them unless the tuner says it's necessary. I read online before buying a different exhaust that the top secret style rear diffusers won't fit due to the size of the rear resonators. My buddy and I made it work by slightly "adjusting the shape" of the mounting bracket and making some spacers out of 3d print for the mounting bolts. Fits like a charm. Just putting this here in case someone has this problem. Even the hefty HKS Silent Hi Power rear can fits without hitting anything.
    • Well they got my money but they are not getting my gearbox !
    • It's needed for rolling idle up, and I think it is a decider on VCT also.
    • I mean, not really. Link ECU's can absolutely still have errors from the ECU thinking it's getting a sensor it's not expecting. I would imagine the speed at the ECU level in Nistune does absolutely nothing anyway? I assume the ECU does not do any fancy TC stuff with regards to front+rear wheel speed or anything of that like anyway. Someone who uses Nistune may be more fluent in it.
